Camo netting can make camping in some "no dispersed camping" areas a little easier.

The huge DC-10 air tankers have been flying over my house all afternoon. They brought in the big guns.

    Hey Guys,

I was thinking of an overnight on Sunday night. Maybe White Rock Lake or around that area. I have not been there before but it looks remote enough that maybe it won't be a shitshow?? Anybody have any experience camping around that area?

Whiterock lake is beautiful but accessible by a stock 4x4 so when I was there last summer it was pretty darn full. And the mosquitos there were no joke, be sure to come prepared for them just in case.
Around the back of the lake was a little less busy, but theres a few squeeze spots between trees. Our Tacoma made it fine, not sure a full size would, and definitely not with a trailer.

It seems like the crowds have definitely increased at White Rock the last couple years. I used to camp there and only see a handful of people all weekend. And yeah the mosquitoes there are crazy.

Thank you! The federal holiday is Friday. I am hoping that Sunday night might be ok?? I don't want to head east as it will just be too hot. The only other place that is on my bucket list (and maybe not so hot) is over Mount Patterson and through Belfort. But probably best done with at least one other rig for safety.

Caught this wreck this morning on my way to the shop, looked pretty gnarly for the cement truck driver. Hope he's ok, several people ran over and checked on him and the other driver got out and was standing around when NHP/paramedics arrived. Sent footage to NHP as well.

First real incident I've caught on it. I installed the dash cam probably 8 months ago after 3 people nearly hit me/totalled my new truck back to back commuting 2 days and wanted proof of what actually happens just in case. It's been a good camera(Garmin 55), no faults yet so I bought the same one for the wifes truck a month ago. Now I think I'm going to put them in all our trucks. Well worth the $150 to have proof when needed. Camera always distorts distance, but I was about 6 cars back from the light when it happened, the wreck was startlingly loud with my window open a bit.

I've been creepin on your instagram story, it looks wicked.
I could clear 37s stock right? :bananadead:

That person jumping out of the silver truck, bold move, would be concerned about getting yeeted by some traffic not paying attention.
    Crazy you got that.

With enough cutting, yeah you can run 37s on no lift. :drevil:

Yeah saw those first couple guys hit the shoulder and jump out real quick before traffic stopped and hoped they wouldn't be a collateral to the event

    ^^He’s not wrong.
Even with the 2” LT I had to cut up my dead pedal so the ebrake would work. And cut up my footwell plastics. And break up some of the plastic wire connectors so they could still hide behind the footwell plastics. And slice some reliefs in my weather tech floor mats. And cut 2” out of my washer fluid resi. And cut every wiring harness zip tie or mount you can think of. And I might have had to solder and heat shrink some wires I might have got the mig gun too close to :anonymous:

Yeah, something about it catches eyes. I get more waves from built 4 door JKs than anything.
