Stock Springs? With Stock Springs and the RCD 5100s I believe you would be at only ~4.5" lift. You want to run the RCD Bilstein 4.5" shock and Eibach/Toytech 620 coil (1.6"). This combo yields 6" (technically 6.1").

That is correct if run with the stock spring. You can just run either the eibach or ome spring to give you the extra lift.

Anyone running the 5" bilstein with ome 888s? Let me be specific. A buddy has a set of ome 888s that he removed off his 2017 tacoma and he is letting me have them. That's the reason I'm asking if this set up would work? If anyone has done this?

What rear shocks are you guys running? I have an aal and 4” block in the rear with the rough country shocks. I have the 6-7” icons upfront and want a nice shock in the rear tooB2100119-7887-433A-92A2-989046D7F16A.jpg19F2C61C-A548-4A8C-BD89-1CA6B40FB7F3.jpg

I ended up calling top notch in Hawaii with a similar setup to yours and that had me drop shipped some extended length bilsteins at a reasonable price. I'm running 4.5" blocks with an AAL.

BDS fox that come with a 4" kit (the 6" kit ones were too long for my rear springs)

I just bought an 03 double cab with a 6 inch fabtech lift. I flew to Las Vegas and drove it back to idaho. While driving I noticed that over 50 mph it feels like the left front tire is shaking or unbalanced, pretty rythmic. I replaced both of the outer tie rod ends the other day and the inners didnt have any in/out play and were smooth so I left them. There wasnt any other play when shaking the wheel from side to side or up and down. I still have the shaking feeling though. I am going to get the tires checked and balanced in the next day or so. I checked for play in the steering shaft and noticed some so I am going to get that joint welded asap. The shaking is not the only problem though. I took it about a mile down a fire service road to see if I could figure out what needs replaced. It is clunking in the front pretty bad, almost undrivable on decent washboard roads. To be honest I'm not really sure where to start. I grabbed some sockets and wrenches and just started checking to make sure everything was tight. Cant find anything loose. The coils and struts look old and probably what came with the kit so I was thinking maybe they have given out and the suspension has no dampening. Any suggestions of where to start?

I would go ahead and replace the coil overs if you think they came with the kit. If they did they are probably long overdue for replacement anyway. Who knows, you may get lucky and solve the problem by doing that. If that doesn't stop the shaking, I would check the steering rack. I had one go out on an 03 with no lift and 31 inch tires. I'm sure you have bigger tires with a 6 inch lift.

Did you ever get your rear setup figured out? I have the same lift on my truck and wanted to do away with the blocks as well. I ended up going with the allpro expo's 3 inch lift. They actually lift it 4 inches. I still had to add a 1 inch block to level it out. Oh well, 1 inch block is better than a 3 inch block anyway. Hope this helps.

Yeah I have seen others posting about using the bilstein RCD 5100s and eibach 620s. Do you know if this setup will work with a 1st gen?

I do not unfortunately. I only have 3 inch lifts on both 1st gen's I have. Sorry I couldn't help with that. I'm sure you can find an answer on this forum. It has wealth of knowledge and has been very helpful to me.
