    2nd time Tacoma owner.
12/28/19 I bought a 2020 TRD OR 4x4 DC with tech package, tint, etc. Window sticker said $44,900, so with TT&T around 50k. I stood my ground with them and refused to pay that price. After 8k trade and 2k down, Gap insurance and platinum extended warranty added, I only financed 26k and my payments are under $400 per month. My hubby swears I beat the guy up! It's an awesome truck and I'll never buy anything else. First Tacoma was a 2015 and the same model, but only a 4x2. The same dealership dropped that price for me by $9,500. If you have good credit, you can talk them into about anything. Just wait until the deal is almost done, then start your battle...

It looks like they've updated the incentives and dropped the cash rebate down to $1000 or APR to 1.9% for 60 months (at least for the midwest where I'm at). Would have been nice to keep the $1500 but at least it's something still!

Noticed new incentives are up. $1K rebate or 1.9% financing in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Looks like we were posting at the same time. Not surprised the rebate dropped. Until supply picks up no reason for Toyota to incentivize sales.

Well considering the Tacoma rarely has incentives, I guess we should take what we can get. It looks like trade-in prices have increased also, so if you are doing that you can get a bit extra on that side of things as well.

If you have already put down a deposit like I had done. When the dealership tried to raise the price by $500 because of incentive changes I put in a call to Toyota customer service. I made the case that Toyota decided to shut down factories and hold up the process so I shouldn’t be penalized monetarily for their decision. Got a call from the dealership a couple days later saying that they would honor the original agreement which would have otherwise went up by $500. But this is also in Southeast Toyota where they don’t have customer cash instead they call it dealer cash. It’s not listed as part of the price agreement worksheet. When the salesman called me to tell me, he tried to make me feel bad Like it was coming out of their pocket or something. Would they have felt bad if they had basically stolen $10,000 from me if I bit on their first offer which was trying to give me $10k less for my trade? A call to customer service can’t hurt. Agreed-upon deals with a deposit should be honored no matter what anyway.

Went to 3 dealerships yesterday here in central California and couldn’t find any Tacoma’s. The salesmen said some are arriving today but I was advised of the 5k markup they are putting on all of them.

One dealership is getting a Cement Tacoma TRD OR 4x4 for 38.5k Msrp price
Which puts it at close to 44k after the dealer mark up.

Going to go look at it today so see if I can walk out paying no more than 40

I take it this has the basic configuration? In other words you have no packages added other than the standard that comes with the TRD Off Road model.

    Yup, the “extra value package”
There is another dealership with the same taco that comes with the premium package but after the dealer mark up it’s around 49k which is ridiculous.

You'd be better off flying to another state and driving it back! See my post above, I just got one in NC for 35,500 with a 38,500 MSRP.

Right on. Congrats! Yeah I've seen dealerships doing the same thing! There is no way in Covid hell I'm paying those kinds of mark ups. I'm looking to get the TRD OR DCLB fully loaded. Typical MSRP is right around $45-46k which I'm aiming at $39-40k before taxes of course which would put me at around 12-13%. On the waiting train for that though. Sep-October would be my guess.

Cement is an excellent choice! It's one of three I'm considering.

    Cement
    Gray
    White

That’s crazy. Are there people actually paying that?
I got essentially the same truck as you, but in Quicksand. MSRP is $40,311. I got it OTD for $40,999 at 1.9% in Florida.

First post. I am currently at the dealership signing paperwork. 2020 off-road DCLB in quicksand. Spec sheet was $40,600. Got $500 off so $40,100 with 1k down 2.9% at 60. Plus TTL. Will know once they get the truck on the lot what my OTD price is.

What paperwork are you signing without an actual price? I’d be careful about signing any financial commitments without a number.
