Quick google search for electrolysis damage... most of the results are from hot rodders (probably because their vehicles are older as well as ran green coolant their entire life) but here are some toyota motor specific examples

You can still use it right? It fits and everything? You just leave the auto trans lines capped off.

    Beat me to it

Should still be the same measurements, I'd run it if you're in a pinch... those auto cooler lines can stay disconnected

And if it every leaks internally, it's like a built in weep hole lol

We only carry auto transmission rads because why make 2 when one works for both

Even when you specify auto or manual it gives you the only rad they carry

Kinda like how i ended up with tundra ball joints from autozone

That's good.. it's not a guaranteed thing to happen, two of those pics are from a 22r out of a 85 off yotatech and the 3rd one was a 3rz. Green coolant on it's own can break down and and cause that damage but what will really accelerate the process is if you get transient voltages that run through the engine.. that's why it's so important to keep grounds tight and corrosion free! And be smart with installing and grounding accessories cause those can create all sorts of transient voltage problems

I had to deal with some of that on a 70,000 mile 4Runner engine intake manifold steel gasket against aluminum. Not sure what they ran in terms of coolant.
