ECGS Bushing. Where to buy in Canada?

Hey all,

For Reference I am located in Ottawa, ON area.

I just started experiencing issues with my Needle Bearing wearing out.

I am wondering what you all have done to yours?

• ECGS Bushing? If so, where did you buy it from to have it shipped here?
• Dealer updated Needle Bearing (TSB for it)? If so, did the dealer replace it as a TSB or charge you for it?

Have you reached out to ECGS to see if they can lob one over the border for you ?

 

Not yet, from what I had seen is people could only get them in the states.

I normally order all my parts and have them shipped to Ogdensburg NY (border near me) but with closed borders that's not an option.

I will reach out to them for sure.

 

My local off-road garage Sportsman 4x4 had them in stock, same price when you factor shipping and exchange. Any good off-road shops near you?

 

If you can't get ECGS to mail you one, let me know. I have an extra one all boxed up that I'll mail you.

Agreed, ordering from ECGS no problem, quick shipping. The COVID should die off during transport. It's just like ordering anything else out of the US.

 

local off road shop near me stocked them luckily. Price was pretty much the same vs buying it from ecgs

I bought mine from ecgs along with the seal. And removal tool separate. Should have got at the same time and saved shipping. Thought I could have got a loan of the removal tool but wasn’t that easy. I’m in Nova Scotia.

 

Agreed, being in Canada it's harder for us to borrow from our US friends.

I got all mine today. 2 day shipping from North Carolina. Bushing, removal tool, install tool and seal press.

 

Any chance you would sell the tools to another guy in Ottawa? Or let me borrow them eventually when I do my lift/bushing?

I am pretty sure North Shore Off-Road and other local 4x4 shops stock them too.

No.idea but if your local to the lower mainland I can lend you the pulledr and install tool if it's the same for the 2nd gen

As @Dalegribble02 mentioned, their website doesn't have it, but they do sell it. I know he was talking about new website when I ordered part, but I guess it never came or is still in process, or who knows. But yeah they do have the tool too.
