That wasn't any problem. I've got a video of @Shveet going through there that I have to upload. There was a fairly tough section near the end of Waterloo Lake Rd, off of Bisset Creek Rd. We could have got through it but were concerned that there may be more harder stuff further along. That was one piece of trail that I hadn't been on before. Next time we'll do the route in reverse.

We just went with a small group this time, only 4 to start which got down to 3 by the start of the second day. A small group is way easier to manage when you have to turn around. Maybe we'll add a couple more for the next time around!

i was gonna stop by and show off the mess on my lunch if it wasn't for the damned call i had :annoyed:

i learned to stay away from mud on this trip - just spent 3 hours "pressure washing [hose with a jet nozzle]" just the underside from every nook and cranny i could reach...

Hey Jan, the trip looks like it was great. Great photos as always. Where is this look out? Is it near VMUTS?

That lookout was south of Bonfield. And not really that far from Mattawa and VMUTS. @llamasmurf provided us with a gps track to get there.

You'll have to call in and arrange it yourself, but most people have Saturday off fyi.
Use "I know this crazy Russian guy with a Tacoma" as a key phrase.

Go 35s or go home, 33s aren't going do much beside making your MPG worse, for the type wheeling most do 32s is golden size in terms of value/efficiency.

For me it was this route, :duh:

1st Put on armor, it sunk my stock suspension.

2nd Did suspension to get my truck looking sweet and lifted slightly.

3rd Got 33's(10.2 wide is the key pizzacutting action) and they fit, with some trimming to the fender flares you can make them fit pretty easy.

I just removed my fender flares because I was all 'meh dont need these' :annoyed: Learned that lesson. You probably want fender flares.

I can't find 32s pizza cutters on a 16inch rim in anything that isn't a MT tire. I want to get an AT since 90% of my driving is roadways and shitty Hamilton roads.

255/85r16 is a 33 - otherwise to get 32" i'm looking at 255/75R17 and i want to keep my rims as i like 16 inch rims :anonymous: and i dont want to spend more money where i don't have to). Other than that the only thing i can find are swampers on 4wheelparts for 16inch rims and to hell with those... heck even looked into 235/85/16 but i can't find anything that isn't a road tire.

i can get thinner 30s but that's doesn't help me since i'm 1-1/2 inch lower than stock height right now and my idea was get the tires to compensate the height for the time being. otherwise i'll need to look back into shocks and springs and ...

    :annoyed:

... i think too much on this subject.

Yea, I went the easy route and just got a set of used 17" rims. :notsure:

as much as i want to upgrade the truck, i'm going to need to put modifications on hold for now.
Opportunity just showed (like an hour ago) up for a house which i might be making a move on it. every penny counts on a down payment
