BelAir Camper Shell on back, which has one connection to battery. Otherwise, stock.
    Morning everybody,
Joined up as I’m trying to figure out what’s up with my truck and this a definitely a solid resource to help get me sorted. I’m not really much in the experience category for repairs but also not afraid to try and follow a YouTube video.
My 1st Gen 02 has ~156k Miles, is pretty much stock except for a BelAir camper shell I added this winter which does have a connection to battery which powers a couple interior LED’s. Been having a no start issue in the last couple weeks. New battery went in approx thanksgiving 2019. Also have not been driving as much since March due to Cv.

I’m gonna scout the threads to see what I might learn as possible causes to a no start issue I’m having. Might chirp up with another post after that. Cheers,

    Hiya!
I initially found this place due to problems I was having with an '02 as well. A great resource here with tons of info. For starters if you don't have it yet, grab the download referenced here for the '03 service manual - very similar to the '02 and available:

Can you said what happen in the process when you try to star your truck because I have a similar problem with my Tacoma 2003 manual transmission when I try to star the truck it stars but it doesn't idle and it just turn off and the only way I have the engine on it was with pressing the gas pedal but if I stop pressing the gas it shuts , so I thought it was the battery, alternator, fuse but no.

So I friend tell me to clean the air intake with air intake cleaner and a toothbrush and just 5 dollars fix my taco
