Right on. Congrats! Yeah I've seen dealerships doing the same thing! There is no way in Covid hell I'm paying those kinds of mark ups. I'm looking to get the TRD OR DCLB fully loaded. Typical MSRP is right around $45-46k which I'm aiming at $39-40k before taxes of course which would put me at around 12-13%. On the waiting train for that though. Sep-October would be my guess.

Cement is an excellent choice! It's one of three I'm considering.

    Cement
    Gray
    White

That’s crazy. Are there people actually paying that?
I got essentially the same truck as you, but in Quicksand. MSRP is $40,311. I got it OTD for $40,999 at 1.9% in Florida.

First post. I am currently at the dealership signing paperwork. 2020 off-road DCLB in quicksand. Spec sheet was $40,600. Got $500 off so $40,100 with 1k down 2.9% at 60. Plus TTL. Will know once they get the truck on the lot what my OTD price is.

What paperwork are you signing without an actual price? I’d be careful about signing any financial commitments without a number.

Just the initial finance form, they are holding all the rest of the paperwork until the truck is on the lot. They mainly just wanted me in to get a deposit to transfer it in. I've done some searches and haven't found many 2020 OR DCLB in quicksand. They were the first dealer out of 8 I contacted that just found one for me and didn't try to pressure me into a truck I didn't want.

Agreed! I've seen people end up in bad financial situations in similar scenarios. Definitely read the contract and make sure you and the dealer are on the same page before you sign. Anything you agree on that is not listed, get it in writing!

It took quite a bit of haggling to get there. Also, they didn’t have any Tacomas on the lot when I was in, so I’m having to wait a couple weeks.

I'm not looking for anything additional from them. Tax on 40,100 in mass will be 2,506.25 Then the most title, registration, and plate transfer will be is $280. So OTD should be 42,886.25.

What sort of things should I be looking out for?

If you already have an agreed upon price, they should be able to calculate your OTD price since TTL should easily be calculated by them. Seems a little suspicious they won’t give you a final OTD price.

    Vancouver, BC, Canada, eh!
    Vehicle:
    2020 Black Taco TRD Offroad
Ours was 53k (that funny coloured Canadian money) "out the door" for a 2020 TRD offroad "premium package" double cab short box, MSRP of $48,590. 0.99% financing as they had some "loyalty" deal if you owned another Toyota, which I do. Sales guy gave me the free TRD floor mats (wooo..I know) and they are adding in a rear USB outlet (for free) into the console which apparently was only available for US models for some weird reason Only extra we splurged on was an extended warranty and replacement coverage.

So it wasn't that they didn't give me it I just didn't ask for it. actually just talked to the guy because he called me giving me a delivery date of the truck. And the title registration plate transfer fees are only a hundred. So $42,706,25 OTD.

Curious what would be a good or decent deal on a TRD Pro right now? Or what is a good deal normally on a TRD Pro. Im leaning towards going with a Pro vs a TRD Off Road. Thx

As always it depends on region. It seems like they get marked up quite a lot in some regions like the west coast/CA especially. But even in regions where pricing is more sane, Pros usually go for MSRP. Occasionally a dealer may be willing to deal a bit on them, but it doesn't seem too common. I think MSRP is reasonable on them, but wouldn't pay over that. You gotta pay to play!
