Hey guys. So I noticed my tweeters were not working when I swapped out my door speakers. They are aftermarket tweeters and I did not install them. I had someone install them about 10 years ago. Anywho, I think I found out why but not sure what it is or if that's even the reason it's not working. The tweeter is connected to a capacitor or something. Does anyone have any idea?20200707_093511.jpg 20200707_093530.jpg

That is the crossover to prevent low frequencies from playing through the tweeter and damaging it. Usually with those alpine tweeters, they get wired to the main door woofer. Check to ensure that crossover is actually connected to the speaker somewhere

will do. It was indeed wired to the door speaker. Everything looked good on the first inspection but Ill go out there and follow all the leads and make sure nothing is going on. I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning as its about 109 where I live right now. lol.
