I think many in the area are not keen on the Rona in their community. My guess his intent was something to do with that. Remember, he is suspected of shooting at least two other people.

 

I was going to head that way that morning. But my boss thought I should go towards bucks lake. I would of been at the top of the ridge on the Plumas side watching folks wheel down there

Trying to get a CA license right now sucks

 

Tell me about it.

Robert had his behind the wheel scheduled for March. DMV shut down 4 days before his appointment. They cancled it.

THEY contacted him with his new appointment date (today) all the way in Mariposa. The appointment THEY scheduled was SPECIFICALLY for his re-scheduled (from 3 months ago) behind the wheel test.

His permit expired last Friday.

We show up... They tell us he can't do his behind the wheel test because his permit is expired. All they can do today is issue another permit.

I swear to god these people think it's their job to make you have to return multiple times.

 

"Hey look, it seems like your son's permit expired while we were out. Let's just renew this real quick and then run out and do the road test". How hard is that?

 

I know right?

It's not like they didn't know when his permit expired, when they re-scheduled his test.

It boggles the mind at the ineptness of the DMV. It's like the place where people who barely pass the test go to work.

Customers waiting in line? No problem. Lunchtime!

 

They are absolutely incapable of finding a solution other than "You'll have to come back."

Then they bitch because people are grumpy when they have to go there... and they bitch because they are "overworked."

They are "overworked" and people are grumpy because THEY make people have to make 2 and 3 trips, to do shit that should be able to be done in one visit.

 

I tried to get a Real ID... They wouldn't take an absentee ballot OR a valid Hunting License as a 2nd proof of address. I havn't tried again. I have a passport.

Still f'n pissed over that.

 

Both the Walnut Creek and the Concord DMVs started closing their doors early since they're so "overworked". Not really sure how they're more overworked now verses before.

Shit, they want to see over worked, I'll let them follow me for a day. I'm PMing 3 jobs at the airport right now and finishing up a highrise in Oakland.

 

weird. I filled out mine online, did my photo and signed. In/Out under 25 min with an appointment.

 

Add the mad rush for schools to be completed that just started by Aug 3rd and you have my life.

 

personally dont consider Vacaville as the bay area but some do. Doesnt disregard the business and ineptness of the DMV though.
