So MT High is almost open and the northern mountains are already getting snow. I cannot wait to grab my 158' burton baron, step into my p1 bindings, and tear up the mountainside.

I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming season... except skiiers because you guys are lame as fuck.

i would like to start off a great borading thread with a great story.

My first time ever snowboarding, i broke my arm (only bone ive ever broken)... i was trying to hit a table-top jump onto a feature 20x40 but i didnt even know how to ride... i ended up landing in a stop position and all the force of gravity slammed my forearm into my knee, exploding my bone. I went into shock almost immediately and looked at my friend. I told him "fuck, i just broke my arm.." he laughed and remarked, " you would be on the ground crying..."

i went to the doctor two days later and a piece of my bone the size of a dorrito chip was missing. I came to school on monday with my cast and laughed in my friends face... "i don't cry pussy." was my answer.

I went snowboarding in mammoth 2 weeks later with the cast during a blizzard the thing got soaked but i had a blast!!!

I got my Double Whammy aka triple Whammy cause North Star was bought out by Heavenly. So now I have a pass too 3 Great resorts Sierra, North star and Heavenly... I am pumped!

We have a lot of Taco Boarders in the North bay let alone the Bay Area. I think we all should plan a trip up to Tahoe this season. Anyone down?
