Wish it was a little longer so it would stick out past a g40 or something with a comp

Does it not have a crossbar ? And if possible further out just makes the switch in the wrong place .

I don’t know what most people’s ideal is , but mine involves using a light as a stand-off for contact firing . My g40 and compensated guns get no love in this area

I haven’t seen a light long enough yet

I like it a lot. I went with the Vortex Viper because it is the lowest glass off the top of the slide and I wanted to put on suppressor sights to co-witness. And it barely does. I’m not sure if co-witness / back up sights are an option with some of the taller red dots.

But the results are good too:

How has your been? I got two and had constant issues with both of them on all types of ammo I shoot. Ended up getting rid of them.

I had a few of of the 33 rd ones. They would run fine except for when using the Winchester Steel cased ammo. The coating on the cases didn't jive well with the mag and would not ride along the mag wall smoothly and would get stuck or hung up all the time. That was my only issue I had with ETS mags. I found some Glock brand 31rd mags for what I could sell my ETS mags locally so I did that instead. No regrets

Quick question, I am running a Zev Match Pro threaded barrel on my G17. The thread protector keeps coming loose. Any suggestions besides loctite? I wanna be able to remove it later when my paperwork goes through for suppressor. Also, what’s the break-in period on the Zev parts? I’ve already fed it about 300 rounds and found out it doesn’t like Winchester ammo. Light hammer strikes. Federal ammo seems good to go. Thanks! A0906900-48A7-4DB7-BB61-A3A03768717D.jpg

SWPercision Saber cut. Got it for $300 on the EE at ar15.com
    https://swprecisionarms.com/saber-cut-blank-slide/
Didn't want to send in my slide to have cut if I didn't end up liking the red dot. That slide came along so I jumped on it. Now I can return it back to stock if needed and should be able to sell the slide and red dot for no loss if I need to. If I do end up liking the red dot, then instead of selling the oem slide to recoup cost, I'm going to find gen 3 lower or a build a p80 lower for it and just have 2 glock 19's at that point haha.

Well if all goes well, I'm the proud (soon) new owner of a brand new G17 gen 5 MOS :anonymous:.

Haven't used the Blue Label program before and ordered it online to boot so we'll see how it goes lol. Was really looking at the G34 and almost pulled the trigger (pun intended lol) but it was $85ish more and ended up being sold out this morning so I took that as a sign to get the G17 before it sold out.
