Any alignment shop recommendations in the South Bay that have experience with SPC UCAs??
And maybe even offer lifetime alignment?

I would do a search for stuff more inland. I heard of a really good shop in EL Monte. I'll ask my buddy at work what it's called and get back to you. I get it's a pain in the A** to get there but they might offer lifetime alignment.

Bump for recommendations as well... I am in the SB (Los Angeles) and have a fantastic guy for car alignments (WestEnd) but Darrin or Chris do not do trucks. Need a good place for the Taco.

I ended up going to RPM Garage in Monrovia. I would definitely recommend them. They specialize in Tacomas and any other 4wd vehicles, you'll see a bunch of them at the shop.

I know .. 3 months old post... How was the service? The tech? Friendly?

I've been hearing RPM a lot when researching for an alignment place. How willing are they to redo an alignment when you drive off and find out it's slightly pulling to the left, or how willing are they to work with you when you tell them to try to hit certain numbers? Can they set your alignment up to the magic numbers everyone wants, 4deg of caster? I've gone to a few different firestone places (I'm sure not everyones #1 choice) to get mine done and it's a hit and miss. One firestone that was able to get my caster dialed in was the one in Fountain Valley. I told him, +4deg, and he nailed it at +4/+3.9deg. Few months later, I had to replace some suspension part that required another alignment. Went to the one (firestone) closer to my place and the tech could barely get +2.5deg, manager made excuses saying it is what it is, cams are adjusted to it's max position on both ends, cant do much anymore. I showed him my previous numbers from the Fountain Valley firestone, but the prick manager didn't care. Shrugged it off and said, you could bring it to them? Didn't feel like sitting there arguing so I left.

Service was top notch. This place specializes in off-road vehicles so you'll see a good amount of built up rigs waiting to get worked on.

As far as alignment goes, they will be able to get you dialed to whatever numbers you're aiming for and I'm sure they'll get it right the first time. No matter what UCAs you're running.
Like you I had spotty service from Firestone in the past and honestly, I plan on going to RPM from now on.

I just went to RPM garage about 5 days ago. I wanted to stay local but drove 40 min to get there. 1 hour and 15 min later I was out the door. They were real busy even with my apt at 9am.

They got 4.8 degrees of caster on both fronts with aftermarket UCAs. they said if it felt weird when I left just come back and they’d dial it back in.

if you want my numbers before and after I’ll send them to you or post them up. I just asked for more caster (dumbing it down) I had 3.8 before.

I found other threads that mention The Truck Shop on Miramar Rd. I'll give them a shot if plan A fails

Plan A is Firestone because my wife bought a lifetime alignment from them
