This morning I just finished writing up a "for sale" ad for my truck. Spent the past few weeks getting everything right and proper on it, and even located the OEM cargo net stashed in an old box out in the garage. Now if I can post a dozen or so more messages here to meet the quota... I thought about just posting it up on craigslist, but then you have to deal with...uh... craigslisters, so I'm planning on posting it on this site first, where more folks seem to know what's what.

Peepaw likes to sleep up in the truck and gets locked in the garage a couple times a week.

Be careful. It is very easy to flatten the cooling fins with too much pressure.

If your radiator has been in for a while, the lower half of it may be filled with debris. One option is to pull the radiator and soak all that crap with a hose to soften it up before blowing it with air.

It just takes a bit of effort.

Likely only need a power and ground. Looks like a very basic configuration. Good Luck!

Started on the power steering line replacement. Got the return line and the reservoir off fairly easy. Followed Timmy's video on the power steering flush and cleaned the screen with brake fluid. It's looking good.

I'm having trouble removing the 17mm line nut on the high pressure side. I have a 17mm line nut wrench, but there's not much room to work to get leverage. I can hook the top of the wrench with another wrench and I've tried pushing and hammering on that for more leverage, but I still can't bust it free. I think it might have been torqued down pretty good when the frame replacement was done. Any suggestions?

Yeah that's gonna be a bitch. The head will have helped it get tighter more than anything.

Id suggest pulling the rack off the bushings, it'll give you more room.

That said, if you're gonna pull the rack...get new rack bushings as that's not the funnest thing to pull either. I can just hang there. If you need more movement disconnect the tie rod ends using a pit man puller.

Fixed that P0402 Excessive EGR Flow code I was getting after all that head gasket nonsense.

Turns out when I cleaned up the throttle body, I washed some crap into the tubes that connect to the EGR modulator, plugging them up and preventing it from working. Moderate application of an air compressor fixed that right up. Runs good now.
