Where are all the Gen 2 Access Cabs?!?

Greetings,

I have been searching, without success, for a late model Gen 2 Access Cab that meets the following criteria:

V6
4WD
Automatic
Less than 100K miles
Minimal mods
NOT silver in color
SR5 or TRD OffRoad (preferred)
From a rust-free state

You would think this vehicle would be relatively popular and easy to find. This has not been the case. I see these vehicles ALL THE TIME driving around my local Tahoe area, but NEVER for sale.

Why is that?

LOTS of DCSB's out there. Looking to add a Four Wheel Camper (Fleet) and kinda' set on the 6' bed, but not the long wheelbase of the DCLB.

Besides randomly searching area Craigslist ads, does anyone have ideas on locating this Tacoma in question?

 

People love their access cabs and their Tacomas in general so they aren’t going to come up for sale often. Then add to it your under 100k parameter and the field becomes small.

 

I’m out 3 strikes. My truck is silver with 96k on it and I’m in the rust belt.

You just need more people with AC's to have babies and buy minivans but the damn pandemic is stressin' everyone out and there's less love makin' going on.

 

Hundreds of them here in Las Vegas,they are not even rare.

 

Hmm, would think Sacramento CL would have some pop up.

On another note I think people who buy ACs like really wanted an AC so that may not be why you see them for sale too often. Just a thought.

 

Kids are grown so I won’t be selling. Lol I bought it when they were young. I wasn’t letting two rug rats keep me from my access cab. They rode in the ML500 then in the FJCruiser.

 

My father in law is selling his 2012 ac with 90k on it..but its silver ..and we live in jersey. Sorry. I’ll will be posting his pics this weekend.

OP Firkel, you and I have the same taste and similar predicament. I'd be happy w/ silver (as that seems to be what TMC made the most) just not white. The Access Cab LB definitely looks "truckier" if you pardon my bias. Wifey has arbitrarily set 2015-2019 and <80k miles as part of our search parameters so good luck to us both. Glad you're not looking down here in the South!
