    That intake actually pulls in more hot air than the factory one. The factory intake pulls air from inside the fender well.

    I have this HPS "cold air" intake and it is very nice, I feel it's way better than K&N and the rest out there. The silicone joints and clamps are top quality, the air box is 90% sealed so it still utilizes the factory wheel well intake port. Plus the filter won't get as dirty as other cone filters since it's sealed off from the engine bay.
    I bought it for the sole purpose of improved intake sound, since it is a straight intake pipe with no resonators on it.
    Intake, in my opinion, sounds better than exhaust, it's not constantly loud, at idle or cruising speed you barely hear it. Plus it is way cheaper than an exhaust system.
