Yes sir. I’ve been quite happy with b14, especially with 2.0 and my AGM voltage adjustments.

Interesting. Makes me wonder if I should drop my extended warranty

No worries. I'm guessing they're essentially the same. Both high-quality cables, one is orange, the other transparent.

Just bought the Tactrix. My wallet and I still aren't on speaking terms. It might try to kill me when I order the tune. Sounds like it'll be worth it.

It is worth it. It made me sick to spend that much but I was happy after about 15 minutes with the tune installed.
Today, rolled on it in second and was just in love all over again.

Very excited about that. Always wanted to tune, eventually regear, but lived with it because it was ok on flat roads, which is 99% of my driving, though starting from a stop was almost always a sad sight as even big rigs could outpace me in the first few seconds. But that 1% up hills...oh boy. Weak sauce.

I can't be sure she knew we were racing, but I kept pace with a soccer mom in a Grand Caravan for the first time after I installed the tune.

I downloaded Techstream V14.20 and the techstream-act is showing up as a severe virus. Where is the keygen app?

That is the key generator app.

Yes, the A/V will freakout on it. Just close your eyes and toss some salt over your shoulder. It's a weird little program, but no one has reported any issue other than the warnings.

    Nice write up !
I’ve been very intimidated on the Ovtune website.
Seeing your success makes it a little more inviting to give it a go myself.

Tune will likely help more than re-gear unless you’re towing heavy and regular. Speaking as someone that hasn’t re-geared (disclaimer) I’m pretty happy with how mine drives after the tune. I’m regularly 75-85 on my daily Texas commute. It’ll still pull itself out of 6th for overpasses or accelerating to pass, but it only drops to 5th and it does it VERY smoothly. I’ll see the occasional 4th, but that’s with wind and 80+ accelerator.

But overall, the amount of gear searching is greatly reduced. City drivability is improved even more in my mind. That ‘barely a dab’ through 3rd on the way to 4th almost always resulted in it dropping back to 3rd for a little bit. Gone now. Gears hold like they should, and drop like they should.

I should add, the few times I’ve seen it in 4th, I’ve noticed the TC is locked. Using OBD Fusion, I have a dashboard with color indicators for locked / unlocked.
