What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

yeah because of covid I thought prices would be down..

BUT NOT ON TACOS. man they r like 4 to 5k more now.

 

where was that at.. 35k is its price.

 

Got quoted 49,250 CAD all-in for a fully loaded 2020 DC off-road premium. Works out to be $36,200usd.
Aug/sept delivery though, the multi terrain view 360 cameras seems very useful.

 

Ya'll should come down to Scottsdale, Az. They have a sale on a 2020 OR DCSB AT 4x4 Cement w/ Tech Package for $45,093.00 OTD. (MSRP $38,870)

 

Kinda chaps me a bit that for a `50k vehicle in 2020 with all the modern bells and whistles that they'll be charging, should you choose to accept it, another $10 a month for that gimmicky wifi connect once the year trial expires. Also, no LED interior lights...jeez

 

They told me my OTD price 2.5 months before I was supposed to pick it up.

 

Just picked up a 2020 TRD off-road with the premium package ( JBL audio, moonroof, leather/heated seats ) for $42K out the door. MSRP was $44K, and they dropped it down to $38.6K.
Tried to get me to pay $2800 for a 100K warranty, but I got them down to $1600.

Mountain States Toyota in Denver. Unfortunately no rebate, and 2.9% because I went with 72 months.

 

24.7 before ttl for 2020 sr 4x2 4 cylinder double cab in Houston. Not sure if good price

I and many on this forum appreciate the info of price before TTL.
We live in many different states - different taxes. It gives us that are looking a better idea of prices and then add our Taxes depending on the state we live in.

I got it for $38.6K before TTL. I was quoted that back in March, and just last week my sales guy said they were selling for $44K. I put the deposit down on it in March and I’m still waiting to get it delivered...

I bought my Taco in the first week of April. Back then, everyone was freaking out thinking that they would sell no vehicles due to covid. They were giving extremely good deals on Tacomas at the time and I got my Cement 2020 TRD OR 6MT with premium pkg and tech pkg for 4000 off MSRP and the best lease terms they've ever offered on Tacoma's. Apparently, I wasn't the only bargain hunter out there because the dealers inventory went from 72 Taco's when I purchased, to 3 today. I guess they didn't think about the fact that the factory was gonna close. Also, I think everyone failed to understand that most of the people that can afford to buy new cars weren't losing their jobs. It was all the lower wage service people who were made unemployed by Covid.

 

$43.6k out the door last week for a DCSB TRD OR 4x4 tech package and a bunch of bs dealer add-ons. I was just happy to find one in SoCal on my day off.

Always, always ask for OTD prices. Never, ever take their price as OTD unless they give you the full rundown.

For a 2020 TRD Sport, It was listed at 43k. I got it for 38k OTD and put 10k down.

 

Anyone know of a handy Tacoma specific new truck pickup self inspection checklist in addition to the obvious drives straight, shifts smooth, etc. In 2016 it was have the transmission fluid checked but I think that has been taken care of. Food for thought strategy if you can wait. Ask him if you can sell that truck back to the dealer and pocket a good percentage of the increase. Sit tight, wait for stock to replenish (although that may take awhile) and you have saved a pretty nice chunk of cash. I know -- that is hard to do -- but with the market like this and dealers going nuts I would at least ask and consider it.
