I just came into work to help out since they are short-staffed. I pulled out this bourbon so it's ready when I get home! Good find.

Agree. This goes for about $50 a bottle around here the once every 2 years you can find it.
I'm wondering what she might have traded worth $75?

I just saw this at Costco but didn't even look at the price because I wasn't familiar with it and I was after other things I know I like... waiting to hear what you think and if I need to go back to Costco LOL

A friend of mine from Kentucky told me this is what the locals drink in Bourbon Country... I’ll check in when I get a good taste!

If this violates any TW policy please feel free to delete it and accept my apologies in advance...

The photo below shows a bottle, that as a Jack Daniels collector and a volunteer firefighter.. I MUST have !

If you are able to help me locate this bottle please PM me

It's not worth anyone getting kicked off TW or anything like that... But it's personally important to me and I appreciate any and all help.

    IMG_20200707_222654.jpg

Apparently this is from sometime in the 1990's .. long before I became a collector or a firefighter... But that doesn't diminish the importance of it to me in either aspect.

I got that one a while back when I first got into bourbon, picked it off the bottle and price lol. Remember it being good, but burny. May be worth a second time now that I'm slightly more seasoned

I'm probably late to the party, but I'd trade the MF'r in a heartbeat. I've long since passed the FOMO stage with OWA. It's okay. As a $30 option, I get why it was popular. Now that MSRP jumped to $50 and people shit their pants to get it, I'm content never drinking the stuff again. I've had three in my posession (granted they weren't store picks) in the past year or so and all were traded for, in my opinion, better whiskey. In your case, 1.5L of whiskey > 750mL of whiskey as far as I'm concerned!

@916carl got you hooked up, but I'll toss Nikka Coffey Grain out there as well. Which reminds me that I need another bottle...

Your friends are the odd ones and don't you dare believe otherwise ever again .

Bourbon will always steadily flow through my cabinet just because of how many people like it that I share my whiskey with, but I'm needing 3 more bottles of Booker's, then I'll be more scotch focused in curating my stash.
