If you're going to have someone build you racks for two different parts, why the hell wouldn't you use the larger one as the basis of design?!?

 

Exactly! The powdercoater is just as mad as I am because now his customer is really screaming for parts.

Almost done with this side fertilizer mount. Got to get a bronze bushing for the extra bearing place that was added.

Yup, should have left it bare.

 

I may strip it and leave it alone. Wish I could figure out a way to make the lettering pop. I'm still thinkin on it....

 

Testers model paint... just paint the inside of the letter like a bunch do on the 3rd gen tailgate.

 

But I shake like a 90yo man! I may have to recruit a youngster.

 

Get some of that "frog tape" or just masking ttape and mask it off.

 

The back side, try painting those letters thick, let it dry for a day or two then try sanding over it gently with fine sandpaper wrapped around a flat piece of wood and see what it looks like. Worth a try

 

Gonna scratch the aluminum all to heck if he does that.

 

Use a needle to get the paint into the letters.

 

That's why I said "fine" sandpaper

 

Or a toothpick.
