When I opened them, saw they were scuffed & scratched up, but figured I could work with that & accepted them. It wasn't till I took them home & laid them out I saw it wasn't a set, but 2 passenger sides. Called the vendor and was told pretty much sorry, but I accepted the package, no returns, no refunds. So if somebody could do something with these I will meet up within reason near 44410. Shipping would probably be expensive.

Wow. Really??? They won’t make it right. Can’t you dispute it with the cc company? That just sucks.

Because I accepted the package. Well he!!, didn't think to check the mount locations, just saw they were all there. My fault, but I'll never buy anything from that company again.

What’s the name of the company. You should let the rest of us know so we don’t get caught up in the same situation.

Well, those ARE some nice looking passenger steps. I *really* think the vendor's name deserves a mention. Give credit and all that. ;)

Well, I don't exactly know TW rules on stuff like that. But they were Extreme rude, giving the Terrain they are located on

Wonder if they're anything like this company called Extreme Terrain, whose president is Steve Voudouris. A quick Google shows:

Extreme Terrain has a consumer rating of 1.13 stars (out of 5) from 36 reviews indicating that most consumers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. ... The most common issues with Extreme Terrain are around customer service, which is not as good as expected by some customers.

TW doesn't have a problem protecting it's members. That's why the band all the bad people! TW likes facts. They don't like pissing on people or creating a shit storm with lies.

@DakoTaco : I would give your credit card company a call and dispute the charge*. Whether you accepted the shipment or not, you did not receive what you had ordered. You could also write to the Better Business Bureau (they'll send them a Nasty-Gram and expect a reply) and there's the Chamber of Commerce in their town in PA. You could also leave a Google and Yelp review as a caution to others if nothing else. Just being a squeaky wheel might get their attention.

    * - I've only had to do this once in my life, and for a relatively small charge ($25). The issuing bank was Bank of America and they were genuinely helpful. When they were unable to speak with anyone inside the company, they just credited my account.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Credit card company could not pull it back. The company I bought them from were total a$$es. Marking it up to a lesson learned, it was cheaper than the lesson in divorce. Lol if somebody wanted these, they could cut off the brackets & reweld them in the correct place. Thought about taking them to somebody, but I'm just done with them

Okay, well don't forget about listing on Craig's List and local social media like NextDoor. Far more likely to get someone local and if you list them cheap enough, you'll find some optimistic bargain-hunter that will take a chance on making them useful.

That's a dick move. Did they expect you to walk out and try to mount them on the truck before accepting the package? Apparently Extreme Terrain wants you to make UPS drivers sit and wait 20 minutes while you test fit parts on your vehicle.

I've bought stuff from them in the past but never again knowing they did that you. Buying stuff on Ebay is safer than buying stuff from Extreme Terrain.

I had bought stuff from them before too. Was very pissed the way they pretty much made it my fault for not checking the fit before I accepted. Plus, they were just thrown in a cardboard box, no wrapping, nothing, banging into each other, scratching up the paint. Sent them pics, no reply on that

Other than the actual mounts, are they exact bookends of each other??? In other words without the mounting brackets are the the same?? Used on either side of the truck??
