I was at the dealer ship every other week getting something fixed
Then at 10 k miles it started burning oil to a point where my entire street would fill up with blue smoke in the morning. T tops leaked, when it rained and it rattled like a piece of junk it totally was .
That was the last time General Motors got any of my money. ( Had other GM stuff not good before this).
Back then I wouldn’t have considered anything else. I traded it in on a 1989 Toyota Celica which became the best running car ( at the time ) I ever had. I’ve been a Toyota guy ever since .

That's easy, my only Chrysler product. My first "new vehicle," purchased off a dealer's lot was a 1986 Dodge D100 pickup 4x2. That truck was loud because the driver's door wasn't hung properly from the factory. The stitching on the seat started separating about 2 weeks after I bought the truck, so I bought a cheap seat cover which lasted the life of the vehicle. The AC evaporator blew out just before the warranty ended, which was fixed. but it blew out again in 6 months when it was out of warranty, and Chrysler refused to warranty their crap repair. The mechanical fuel pump died during year 4 (also out of warranty, but an easy fix). Bad body rust was eating it alive, and I was in the south (not the rust belt). There are dozens of other issues with that truck. In order to meet emissions, required about $150 for a "tune up" shop to get it within standards every year I lived in Jacksonville, FL.

On it's best day it got 17 mpg on the highway, and that was while that 318 was pumping out <200 hp. OOH, so powerful!

I ended up giving it to charity because it was such a POS!

I replaced it with a 94 Toyota pickup, and that was one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. When a semi killed it in 2008, it still had the original Freon from the factory. The AC had never been touched. Heck, that truck still drove as nice as the day I drove it off the dealer's lot when it was killed.

Needless to say, I'll never own another Chrysler again. That truck broke me from having any desire to buy another.

Hmmm, tough call between a Monza Corvair in the early ‘60’s and a Ford Pinto station wagon a decade later.

This a fun thread already... here goes mine:

2015 Yukon XL, traded in at 80k for Tacoma
    - Clear coat failure on hood and roof. Out of warranty, $2000
    - Both tail lights failed. $700 part each side
    - Grinding/popping bearing in steering column, never fixed. Cringed every time I turned!
    - Every suspension bushing squeaked
    - Passenger front wheel bearings ground at full lock.
    - A/C condenser failed twice, second time out of warranty and cost $1800
    - Vacuum pump failure led to no brakes. GM/dealer said no issue found, paid $600 out of pocket.
    - Rough idle
    - CEL that could never be diagnosed. Lean condition on passenger bank. CEL came on all the time, dealer and indy could never diagnose.
    - Tranny started slipping.

    Brutal POS

I don't remember exactly what year it was, a late 90s Dodge Dakota...but it had a 2.5l 4cyl engine in it and that thing couldn't outpace a dead snail. Kept it for 2 months and traded it in on my first Tacoma though (a '99 Prerunner v6), this was back in 2004 - 2005.

That Dakota was such a piece of crap, we lived at the top of a big hill and if I didn't get a running start or had to stop for some reason, I'd have to coast back down and try again. Dunno who's idea it was to put a 4 banger in that truck but they must have been high. I did learn to drive a manual trans on that truck though, so that was cool.

My 1999 GMC Sierra that I owned from 2003-2005. More little shit broke on that thing than I care to remember. Window switches, door locks, the steering pump input shaft broke (WTF!?!?!?) and so on. I will say the interior of that truck was pretty damn nice and comfy, I did like that.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame has been one of my favorite Disney movies since it came out in 1996; I did not actually see it in the theater, but my Grandma took me to Toys R Us in 1997 and told me she would buy me a movie (I forget the occasion; Likely my birthday), so that’s the one I picked out. I watched that tape regularly in 1997-1998, and there’s a picture of me with Quasimodo at Disneyland in November 1996 (before I saw the movie) floating around on this thread somewhere...

Anyway, I probably watched that tape for the last time in 1999 or so, and I’m pretty sure I still have it packed away somewhere; The direct-to-video sequel was released in 2002, but I’d lost interest in most Disney movies by then because I was 13 and almost done with 7th grade. I watched the original movie for the first in years in probably 2018 after buying it on iTunes, and then I bought a Disney+ subscription late last year...

I was told by a friend who is a bigger Disney fanatic than me and also has Aspergers not to bother watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame because it sucked; She was shocked when I told her that Claude Frollo was sexually attracted to Esmerelda in the first movie and that the song “Hellfire” was about his attraction to her.

I watched the first movie regularly in 1997-1998 and a lot of the stuff that’s obvious to me now went right over my head back then; That is just one of the reasons I’m amazed the movie was rated “G” and not “PG”. Other reasons include...

The incredibly detailed animation of Esmerelda, specifically her breasts; At 8 years old I thought she was attractive, but back then I didn’t understand it...

The use of so-called swear words; Hell, damn, and I believe, ass; Also, Esmerelda calls Phoebus as a “sneaky of a...” before Phoebus says “Watch it, you’re in a church”.

Two encounters between Frollo and Esmerelda with thinly vailed sexual undertones, the second of which has Esmerelda tightly bound and about to be burned at the stake...*

*Kids were being exposed to bondage situations (like Esmerelda being tied to a stake and almost being publicly burned alive) in G-rated/“Family” movies and TV shows (not just Disney) long before Fifty Shades was even thought of! It seems like most Disney movies, whether they have any kind of sexual undertones or adult humor in them or not, have incredibly dark themes; For example...

The titular character being poisoned in Snow White, boys being turned into donkeys and sold into slavery in Pinocchio, a certain fur-obsessed British socialite wanting to make coats out of Dalmatian puppies in 101 Dalmatians, Jenny being kidnapped by Sykes in Oliver and Company and then Sykes getting killed when his car collides head-on with a subway train, Ursula being violently impaled by a ship in The Little Mermaid (not that she didn’t deserve it), Gaston’s actions and his ultimate fate in Beauty and the Beast, and the list goes on...

And this is not criticism; I love Disney movies and think every child should watch all of them at least once. Disney movies are awesome!
