Thank you, I’m still tossed between this cover with a rack and a soft topper.

The soft topper would be more practical for daily use and cost less, but the retrax with a rack would be straight up bad a$$

    decisions, decisions

My ex isn't happy that I got the mods for my truck... I told her "why worry about me? I don't care what you do.. I usually see your packages arrive at the door almost everyday. If you want me to stop, then I want you to stop, too. Plus, it's my money, I get whatever I want with my money. You can do the same." That's simple.

    She wasn't happy about it.

Now I don't worry about her since we aren't together anymore.

I actually sold my softopper and my used OEM tri fold to put towards the Retrax Pro xr and the Yakima Overhaul HD rack, lol.
Was able to get in on the Retrax group buy for a decent discount, and I placed an order on etrailer for the Yakima bed rack
I almost went with UpTop Overland's Truss Bed Rack for Softoppers but I liked the aesthetic of the Yakima Overhaul HD better and felt like UTO's Truss bed rack would be too much rack for my needs.
I also missed being able to secure my bed storage and easily check my blind spots while merging and driving in higher traffic areas.

Long story short, my ass is still hurting, as this was a friggin' expensive solution for my needs but I couldn't be more excited to get my kayaks out of the garage and lock what I need to store in the bed
I'll post pictures of the Yakima setup with the cover when I get it installed. My order on etrailer is stuck in a pending status as they are waiting for their supplier to come through.

While these are all good points and I appreciate the reminder of them, I don’t believe either of you are trying to help. Y’all just getting me to spend more money! :D

EDIT: But exactly what one should expect from TacomaWorld. ;)

I have non-slip mat in the center on the dash for whatever I put on there. Such as sunglasses, wallet, etc. So they won't be sliding everywhere.

I was laughing at my ex because she likes my non-slip mat so she ordered one for her car, but the problem it is not sticky like mine.. Her stuff slide off.. hahhah.

Yes, the dashmat does cover the tweeters, but not the defroster vents (front or side). It would be a piece of cake to cut out for the tweeters if one felt it necessary.

Pulled the torsion bar off yesterday, put a drop in filter in. Taco drives like a Cadi and is breathin' all the clean air. Felt good to wrench again. It's been a long time.
