    If I wanna replace my OME suspension with something better for on-road/desert dirt road driving what would you guys recommend? I'm running a 2.5" lift currently. I thought I would ask here as the suspension section usually caters to 2nd or 3rd gens and everyone is really knowledgeable on this thread.

    Best bet is go with ADS and get something custom for your truck.

    Out of the box valving won't work for everyone but Kings, Fox, and Icon come pretty damn close for a lot of people.

    I'm running Fox 2.5 and love them for what they are; haven't tried my Kings yet but @eon_blue has them and has had them rebuilt already too

    Because I have ADD currently and am swapping over to manual hubs.. since eon blue bought the last remans I wanted to reman my own ... I found outer joints but toyota wants over 500 a side!

    So it looks like I'm just gunna run aftermarket ones lol

    If these manual hubs were staying with me, I would've gone purple.

    Just put the last coat of clear on them yesterday; this morning they were dry and ready to go

    If you're swapping to manual hubs I'm sure you can buy reman manual hub axles from Toyota still...I know they have those around (they sent me one by mistake once). I doubt they've sold out of those

    May as well replace your wheel bearings and seals since you're going through the trouble of taking everything apart.

    I'd even get the coil bucket reinforced and gusset added to the spindles.
