Toyo M55 is an AT tire available in 255/85-16 that also happens to be severe snow rated. :spending:

But if you can buy a house for Toronto parking spot money by all means...

    pfffffffffft fuck Toronot.
i'm a hammer town boy - and looks like i wont be able to get the place for a bit of time. my sister is in the midst of house hunting at the moment and asked me to help her when i told her about the place i wanted to get. maybe i can convince her to get it
    :bananadead:

But thanks for the recommendation. i'll look into Toyo's offroad section as i'm assuming that Toyo is the same guys that do all the Formula D and racing stuff as well.
But will the 255/86r16 fit onto my rims without rubbing?
I know some guys that have a -20mm offset fit 33s without rubbing. not sure about my -12mm
    I have procomps; https://www.procompusa.com/wheels-p...=2336-1558-1551-1557&pqa=13671-8275-8057-8268
but i measured 9 inches from edge of rim to edge of rim.

Yep, have to say I expected it. The initial $35 shipping cost, I knew was not going to get it to North Bay.

    I paid it.

Odd. I've sent bulkier and heavier parcels to the US for less than that. This is an 8lb plastic sheet.

@Norilsk when and where is our Mall crawl meetup? are we bringing in a snow mountain from the ice rinks to pose off of again?

Depending on where you wheel, sometimes the first thing to go is the U-joint yoke at the axle, because it's the lowest point. I noticed mine has several deep gouges when I removed the pinion flange to hammer the dust shield straight. With more gouges, the U-joint snap ring could pop out.

The pics were taken when I tried prying and hammering on the dust shield in-situ. The noise still occurred. I ended up removing the flange to get at a low spot that was rubbing on the diff housing. Had to take careful measurements before and after to avoid changing the pinion bearing preload.

About half a liter of diff fluid drained out in the process, too, but I had an extra bottle of 75W140... and extra fill plug crush washers.

I'm sure 70% of the time the crush washer can be reused without leakage.
