So very soon my rears will be done... then maybe this fall I can add some bypasses and revalve my fronts... went with the baja kits prerunner. Going to see if I can cut my stock upper shock mount and weld a spacer into it to raise it (think of a reverse roof chop on a hotrod) Below are 3x16 5 tube designed for leaf springs (spring under deavers on the truck)3558E780-C553-4A36-9A0C-E18156414C26.jpg

Got a chance to really test out this suspension a couple weeks ago in the Eastern Sierras. Full firm on the clickers going through whoops and washboards was incredible. I had the chance to do a side by side comparison with a friend that has an OME nitrocharger setup with a similar weighted rig and there really was no comparison. I think the rebound could be slowed down, especially with 700# springs, but overall I'm super stoked on how this setup works.

Don't worry about the shock being rotated. There are swivel joints on both ends and that's what they do.

I have a total of 10, I am keeping three. For you know, stuffs.

If the last 7 don't get scooped up here, I'll let the reset of TW have at it.

Any info on getting the remote resi hose rotated ? Need to rotate the 90° fitting located at the bottom of the reservoir to get the hose bend smoothed out. Need to get it rotated towards the frame.

Off the shelf. They came with 700# springs but I’m not sure if they do different valving for the different spring rates.

Can’t you rotate the whole reservoir?

Extended travel? I went with 700# too, but after 2 years (even with a lo-pro bumper, winch, sliders, bed box) it’s clear that 650# would have been better for ext travel

In theory the valving should be changed to the spring rate, that’s probably why the rebound was a little harsh on the 700lb springs.

With that being said I have the same, and they are great on the street. Haven’t had a chance to get them on the trails just yet. They ride like a dream with these D load tires.

I just ordered 650# springs from Accutune. Sounds like my truck is very similarly set up as yours. My plan is to spring swap for now, and then retune when they need to be rebuilt.

I ordered my ADS coilovers from HS with 700# springs... but I'm not sure if they were tuned for 700# or the 650# from ADS... Quite possibly tuned for 650# and just had the coils swapped to 700# prior to the sale.

    Yes indeed. Very similar.

What’s interesting for me is that I will have ADS switch to the 650# when I do my rebuild and also include the internal top-out spring upgrade they have for shocks built pre 2017 (or something like that). Looks to be about $600 or so for the first rebuild to the new spring rate transition and the above upgrade. Kinda pissed that I was recommended 700# by ADS personnel and also didn’t have the new design/upgrade because I dropped cash for these killer shocks (asked ADS what they would do for me (nothing)...oh well :annoyed:

Very curious to hear how the new ride is for you. Please keep me PM’d sir. :hattip:

I was also recommended 700's and I'm not sure if it was the right choice either.
