I'm looking at the rock crawler series 52 wheels from 4wheelparts. These are the ones.. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/R...=209&t_pt=100021&t_pl=101829&t_pn=PCW52-6883F

I've read some posts about certain steel wheels not fitting due to calipers rubbing or something like that. Just wondering if these will work on my 07 Sport? I'm wanting to go away from the 17" wheels and get some 16"s. The backspacing is 4.25, so I should be safe to run 285's in the future if I decide, but I want to know if anyone is running these wheels on a Sport. Thanks

My 16" KMC are 4.5 BS and I don't have any problems. I'm not sure about 4.25 BS though. Maybe search the wheel and tire forum on here.

The 16" steel wheels that Wheelersoffroad sells are 4" BS, I am not sure if the 4.25" will work or not.

I have them in 3.75" backspacing, they rub slightly on the calipers but u can grind down the parts that slightly rub

thanks, maybe I'll call them in the morning. I just figured that there would be quite a few people running these. Maybe there's a reason for that.

I was looking at these as well, and wondering about the backspacing. I know Wheelersoffroad sells 4.5" BS as well as 4" BS styles (Type A and Type B) that both fit the 2G Taco. If the pro-comps fit okay, I think I like the looks of them better. If you find out anything, could you follow up here? Thanks.

Yeah, I will. I'd go with the wheeler's, but the 52's look better IMO, and from what several people have told me, is that the wheeler's price is good, but they rape you when it comes to shipping!! So you're really not getting that good of a deal. These 52's are cheap, and 4wheelparts ships them free.
