Same color, different name dude, so yes maybe not "Army" Green, but it will be the same green same paint code, different name. Doubt anyone cares about the name as much as the color.

Much better than this year's army green (which is terrible).

Always loved the vocal minority that forums are. Everyone seemed to be hesitant or hate cement, called it boring. Now all my local dealers sell more cement colored Tacos and Tundras than any other color. I'm sure it varies by region some, but lots of hate that just doesn't seem to matter much. Close friend of mine has an AG 4Runner Pro and I had a AG TTSE FJ, we both always kept hearing "I wish I could get that color". Now I have a Voodoo Pro Tundra, I get compliments on it almost daily.

This color is so close to cement it will do just as well, might make it a little confusing though if they try to make it a normal color in 2022.

Cemint, as someone else said, seems to be an apt description for this new blandness (as if Cement wasn’t boring enough by itself). That seems to be the trend with car colors these days. Heaven forbid we get a saturated color — Voodoo Blue is gone after 2020.

I’m also a bit upset Toyota can’t seem to slap an unabashedly red color on the 3rd gen Tacoma. I didn’t want tomato soup (Inferno Orange) or magenta (Barcelona Red), so I settled for the only other saturated color in 2018: Blazing Blue.
    Also discontinued. :annoyed:

Seeing as cement is one of the most popular colors across their model lineup I don't think many find it "boring", it's actually a metallic flake and changes color depending on light, I would say it's far from boring, as evidenced by its popularity.

McDonalds is also very popular. This is not evidence that their food is exciting.

Okay bud. :bananadead: Put a cement and blazing blue tacoma next to each other, see which one gets sold first, doubt its the blue truck that looks like every other metallic blue vehicle on the road from the early 2000s, pretty "unremarkable" if ya ask most people.

Oh, I’m sure the more boring color would sell first. It appeals to a wider audience.

I’m not really faulting Toyota for their paint choices. They’re responding to what the public wants — and we want boring!

    White, Black, Grey = boring.

Cement, Quicksand, Voodoo Blue, Inferno, etc. = not boring

But everyone has their own opinion.

If you think Blazing Blue looks like every other blue metallic of the 2000s, you must have slept through them. Most metallic blues were (and still are) noticeably darker, lighter, more teal or navy, or less saturated.

Blazing Blue is almost identical to World Rally Blue which made the WRX so eye-catching.

We can agree on Voodoo and Inferno, for sure — they’re not colors you see every day. Even Inferno, which I personally didn’t care for, was at least very different from the typical burnt orange.

I like it, but its pretty "unremarkable" as you put it. Its a slightly different blue, I remember almost every Civic SI or WRX had a very similar blue in my HS parking lot in 2004. Cement when it first showed up was unique, not your standard gray, not even close, pretty opposite of "unremarkable", even with its popularity and how long its been used in the Toyota paint box, I still get compliments on it constantly.

I'd love to see some more collabs between Pantone and any car manufacturer.
