ohhh. ok. Well we shall see. Maybe I should go today after work. Cant do tomorrow.. my beater has been giving me issues, and I need to tow it to the dealer for a new key. Also had an interview, but it got pushed to next week.

 

How is it that having to go to work 2 1/2 hours early is still ok when you can ride there?

 

Like riding in a damn sauna, but good times! 100 miles of going nowhere. Found a dead end so I turned around! And no bullshit, I really was working on my engine braking. Still gotta finesse it....I get the lurch sometimes.

Y’all wear ear plugs cruising around?? Not sure why today, but I’ve got some damn ringing in my ears!

I had to wear ear plugs riding my Cbr600rr. Cruised 100 miles everyday on that thing to work and back.

You know, it’s often not the exhaust that causes hearing damage from riding, but the wind noise around the helmet. Best to always use some kind of hearing protection. Even if it just ear buds.

Super true. I have a 509 brand dual sport helmet I can’t go freeway speeds with because it’s so noisy from the wind. I almost never wear it anymore.

 

It’s hot here!! No noise means no air!! No air means HOT!

This. I wear them when i ride to work on the highway or around town for the most part. I also wear a full mx style helmet for airflow.

No I didn't go. Im at the Honda dealership now getting a new key cut since my old one decided not to work when I was leaving for vacation.

And if the new key doesn't work, I might have to get a new car - AKA a used beater. So the bike plans may be put on hold. But if not then i might go this weekend to look. Still need to wait a little bit. Also trying to get a new job. All of a sudden, all these things just popped up. Kinda crazy. And my gf says i cant get a new car and a new bike, and change stuff on my truck
