Long shot but anyone got the hookup on OEM parts at Toyota?

    Long shot but hoping a member has some connections with someone that works at Toyota dealerships in SoCal (Tustin hopefully). There was a member on TW but i think he's not doing it anymore.

    Just trying my luck before I drop $550 on a brand new Rack And Pinion Part: 44250-04030

    Thought it was my inner tie rods and replaced them but still making the knocking noise.

    That already seems like a steal of a price. MSRP for that part is $799.62 according to parts.toyota.com and my local dealer (which usually has great pricing online) is asking $600.91.

    Sure would be great if there was a local parts guy who could hook us up more though. Back in the early 2000's my group of car friends befriended a guy who worked at South Coast Honda. Not only has he become a long time friend but we also got great prices on parts, lol.
