Do I need to wait until both sides of the W53 reach the operating temperature of the right side before I can set the left side lower?

Set them both to whatever temperature you want. The electronics will swap from one side to the other to get them to temperature. Usually it goes straight to below freezing temp, switches to the other side, then it begins to "maintain" temperatures.

Oh, so I can't set the left side to be the freezer and right side to be the fridge?

Mine has an easier time with the fridge on the left and freezer on the right. If you use the right side as a fridge, it almost constantly runs.

    Gotcha ok.
I was just looking at it and thinking the right side is bigger, but haven't really taken any measurements. I guess the compressor takes up more room on that side than I thought.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I was about to come and see what folks were seeing. Both my batteries are 100% charged with 200 watts of solar and a redarc bddc charger but the app says I’m close to medium voltage cut off. Doesn’t make sense. Trigger the f1 error but shouldn’t have drained it. Truck started up fine. Are folks running low detection instead did medium you work around it?

I could never get it to work correctly on any setting, so I've relegated it to temporary duty instead of being installed 24/7.

The app voltage seems to be reading low. My 55 runs for hours down at 9.5 on the little battery pack. Certainly run it on low battery protection and see what results you come up with.

I've got the off grid engineering blue sea bed outlet kit. Its 10g wiring. Cost a good amount more and seems to be a good kit.

Thanks for the responses gentlemen, I actually went with the kit @SuperBad suggested. It's a good value considering the parts alone. It definitely checks the lazy man's box as well.

I installed mine last week. Wiring length was perfect length from the main battery to the cubby on the passenger side. Just an FYI dont zip tie the wiring in place until you fully run it, its that close in length.

    Props to @Mike's Custom Toys

I ordered on Saturday and got it today. Letting it sit tonight then plugging it in tomorrow.

@Beretta4x4 When you say the freezer seemed more efficient set on the right, you're referring to the right side when looking at it open a.k.a closest to the display/control panel.
