Yes totally, either know/test consistency of the arb deflator gauge...and just know it's off (kinda like how most of us run with larger than stock tires without the $150+ tool mod).

Marking would more permanently work as a reminder (or pen marker on the back add 15psi).

Oh yeah, it’s totally usable as I know it’s down 15 compared to reality. It’s just a bit of an inconvenience that it’s wildly imprecise. Makes it a little less “EZ” imo lol.

There’s a good video on YouTube about a farm “hacker”. I forget what exactly he did but I think he messed with the ECU so he can do maintenance on it himself. It’s wild how much technology there is now. My grandparents and uncle still use the same tractors they’ve had since I’ve been around. All old John Deere’s actually.

I know with my Viair compressor that it's off 8-10 psi while the pump is running, but the instructions stated that the gauge would only be accurate while the pump is not running

Yup, mine’s similar. It’s within 1-2 or so when off, and about 4-5 when running.

    Dang..

Mine acted funny when I first used it. Pressures were a off and leaked a lot of air with the air valve/slide opened or closed. After cycling the slide several times both with and without air pressure to it. She came into play.

Since then, The EZ-D has been fine for the last 8-10 years.

I dealt with Ryan over there and he seemed super knowledgeable. He wasn't familiar with the specs on the all pro +2 kit but i have high hopes that it will be good (except for the preload).

Good to know it can improve. My alternative deflator isn’t coming until Friday so I may mess with the ARB some more to see if I can be similarly lucky.

    Rite rite.

All I can say is mine did... but hope yours does too. I also keep one of those big trucker style pencil air gauge in the bag for back up as well. So far, neither has let me down.

Yeah I've got an old stick/pencil gauge in my glove box. Has been as good as can be for about 15 years (knock on wood).

The box typically stays on the bed, but it might be good to move that to the truck itself for when I don't have the whole ass box with me.

I dont have a bed cap, so the important truck things go behind the seats, The bed is full of tire, cooler, and a box for camping stuff if im camping/cooking. I need to figure out how I want to mount it in the bed, because Im not going to get a swing out.

The arb repair kit is a handy thing, I’ve had to use mine a few times. Mainly for shoving multiple cords into a torn sidewall to hold air long enough to get to a safer place to change the flat. Done that in my cooper maxx, cooper mtp, and my hankook rt03. I’m not nice to tires.
