Does anyone have the old 1.05 performance catless dump tube p5 file they can send me? Somehow I deleted it. 2019 AT 04B31
    Thanks

Thanks. Yea I was just curious how it felt to u having ur gears done. I have not tried yet. When u had ur gears done were u also surprised that it didn’t feel much different? Or did u notice a big difference? I read all these posts about how HUGE of a difference they are and was pretty disappointed.

Ok so tried both 04B04 for stock tires and non prem. The thx was cool until I got it on the trail and it had a dead pedal feeling. On road it was pretty good. The non thx is killing me.

Just did over 500 miles and on the tank and a half my MPG has gotten worse. The truck feels all over the place. Any word on dialing 04B04 in? Might have to go back to one of the previous 2.0s. Idk what’s going on here. This can’t be the final final right?

I didn’t notice a HUGE difference but I definitely felt like I got a lot of low end movement back. I think that it was less noticeable since I had already been running 1.05.1 before the gearing and the “performance” aspect of all of the tunes since 1.05.1 has been severely lacking in my opinion.

Thanks. I also already had 1.05 . Oh well. Hopefully it’s doing something. Lol. Didn’t even get much better fuel economy. It’s just funny because I have a good buddy with a jeep who has also regeared other vehicles and he said it should feel like a whole different vehicle. Not the case

It does seem like something happened with 04B04 in the 'final'. I don't remember so many (any?) 04B04 specific complaints prior to this tune. I'm probably just recalling incorrectly.

Don't forget there is no map switching on this version of 04B04, so no performance yet.

@OVTune , installed my 1st tune last week. Since I can't clear values is there anything different to expect? Maybe take a little longer to settle in or anything? Only have 120mi and enjoy it so far but just thought I'd ask.
    Thanks :hattip:

I have the HH too. Never reset values (because I can't, other than TechStream). I have no problems.

I chose premium, stock gears, non-THX, 33" tires (even though only running 265/70/17 - as per OVTUNE recommendation in another post)

Seems fine, but I'm not picky. Previously ran 19800, and throttle seems less twitchy on the new tune which is fine with me

Either of the above are so much better than the OEM calibration, full stop = great product OVTUNE

Might play with the other versions, but for now I'm (still) happy, so will run with it for awhile.

I'm still curious as to what specifically is changed with the tune with regards to tire size though?

Been running 04A61_Reg_33.p5f for a week or so.

    For relevance here's the rig...

A little extra weight. 3" lift.
    KM3 255/85/16 Skinnies/Pizza Cutters 33.1" 56lbs
    On Method MR701 wheels 28.2lbs

Blanche now shifts smoother, and feels better than stock tune stock truck. I ran the beta 04A61+-+2.0+EROM+87+-+Shift+Build+19800 (2).p5f for a while, but it was a bit lackluster given the mods. I then ran sid_04A61_STOCK.p5f for a while and it was a slight improvement, but it wasn't cutting it.

I honestly don't have a single idea what the differences are between these tunes, because I'm a user, not the developer! All I can say is that with my rig the way it is, and has been for a while, I am very pleased with the new 04A61_Reg_33.p5f tune! I no longer cuss the everloving FU@K out of my truck for the way it accelerates, shifts, whines, fails to respond to the skinny pedal, etc...

In short...given a few different tunes throughout development of OVTune's product, I have remained optimistic, and am now impressed! Given my personal experience.

Yes, it has a Dobinson's Snorkel and a S&B cold air intake.

I haven't had any problems either. Just curious what difference it makes since non-handhelds are asked to clear values. :notsure: :hattip:

Over 600 miles on 2.0. Very, very happy with this tune. I was running 1.05 and still used S-mode and ECT on every drive. Now I don't "have" to use it at all and I try not to.
    2016 with 50k miles. ECU is 04B03
    6/20/20 flashed 04b03_Premium_Stock_Thx.p5f

Eventually I'll get around to trying the non-thx tune, but for now super happy.

Edit: sliders, armor and E rated tires.

Yeah, I did and it took a little over a week from mailing off the dongle to getting my key and reg file. I did myself a favor and put the dongle in a sandwich bag inside the envelope along with all my contact info.

I agree. I think several people would love to have the 1.05(.1) Performance tune back, except with the great shifting of 2.0 (and shift mapping with tow mode). Heck, I'll even take gearlock back. I was kinda surprised when we lost performance and tow mode along with gl. :(

Anyone that has the p5f flashing software can still pull all the 1.05 and 1.05.1 tunes off FM. Base, performance and gearlock versions are all available. I just downloaded them last night for 04B04 ECU to have in my tune library when I was getting my system back up and running after a Windows update changed my system ID.

Anyone have 04B04 4.88 catless dump tube premium P5f they could share with me? Apparently I didn't save the file and would like to have it just in case 2.0 final final final... final doesn't work out for me. TIA

You can still get it, I went right back to it after trying several of the 2.0 tunes.
