I ended up telling them I wanted them to check again on installing them. They ended up getting installed without issue so I am not sure what happened or why there was an issue.

Installed with 265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Stock suspension and only seem to be rubbing the from forward flap in the wheel well, but only when reversing and turning the wheel significantly. I had previously removed my front mud flaps.

Same exact wheel and tire on my truck, except mine are grey, but they also rubbed the front flaps in the same situations.

Hello everyone, I’m really digging these grey TRD wheels. I have a silver Tacoma with the red stripe on the back that I vinyl wrapped for $20. I found a picture of the grey wheels on a silver Tacoma which look killer but I came across the DX4 wheels today that just came out and are offered with a black bead lock and bronze inside. Has anyone seen these and what are your thoughts on these for a silver Tacoma? Bronze is also a favorite color on silver for me. Huge thanks for your thoughts on these. Also they cost $636 from Discount Tire so cheaper than buying the Fuel or SCS Ray10’s I love.

Any issues with rubbing with those 4Runner Pro wheels and tire setup on stock Offroad suspension without the lift? Do you think it'll also clear the OEM mudflaps?

I didnt have any issues with that setup and being stock suspension although I never had the OEM mudguards.

Mud FLAPs should be okay though.

    Have a look at these.

Those are pretty sharp... too bad they're an 8.5" width rim. Those are going to poke out about 1 3/8" farther than the stock Offroad.

SL. I don't usually romp on the truck too hard when I am out in the desert so I don't think the stronger tire would be worth the ride quality and weight. I also haven't pushed these Falken's hard or very long (had them on my 2nd gen before I sold it) so I can't write about their durability. I did put a bunch of holes in Cooper AT3's out in the desert but that's what spares and plugs are for, although some places won't repair tires if they have plugs in them-hence why I got new Falken's on the old truck right before I sold her.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Had these for awhile and really like the look but just wanted more stance without spacers so changed wheels. Still keeping them in case I change my mind again. :notsure:

Just picked up my matte black SEMA/4Runner Pro 17 inch wheels from the dealer today. Now I'm debating on what tires. I'm leaning toward the LT255/75R17 Yokohama Geolander Mud Terrain G003 C Load which only weigh 49 lbs. I'd really like to get the larger LT255/80R17 tires, but I don't want to have to do the cab mount chop and I can't tell if they'll hit or not. I'm on about a 2 inch lift but I don't think that matters when stuffed anyway.

How come Toyota dealer site states these won’t fit 2019 Trd sport?

I see enough of these set ups to know they fit, but it makes me wonder how can a 26mm offset difference still work? Is it the 1/2” rim width diff????

They'll fit the 2019. Lots of people on here have them on their 2019's.

Searched the web today but couldn't find a good deal on these. Anyone know any dealers that are offering them a decent price?

    Thanks,
