Did you keep at least one of the FJ wheels to sell to me so I have a 6th matching spare?

I have two of them. I'll be ready to sell those and the four 4runner wheels this fall

 

@JasonLee this is that bike I thought I wanted to sell. Just put a new chain and derailleur cables on it and adjusted every thing. I've had this bike for more than 15 years and it's never ridden so well need to order more to do the brakes.

 

Here are my recommendations:
Buy a green scotch brite pad and cut it into 1" squares.
Remove wheels from bike
Remove the tubes and tires
Wet scotch brite pad and spray with SimpleGreen
Scratch the hell out of the rim sidewalls
Wash and let dry
Reinstall tire/tube
Reinstall to bike
Install new brake pads that the rubber isn't dry rotted
Test ride
Hit front brake too hard and throw yourself off.

 

Oh and then if it is still disappointing, throw the bike away and buy a bike with disc brakes - like my full suspension Ripley I'll be selling when I get a new truck and new bike (but at this rate, it will be a year before that happens).

 

I'll keep that in mind. This is really for getting around to the breweries but nothing very serious.


The brakes work but the cables are not long enough so the brakes engage when you are turning
