Guess you're not going to mow this yard of mine, huh?

 

Always be thankful for what you have, and try not to wory about the relatively minor aches and pains. Because many others have it a lot worse.

 

What did you have on the Tacoma, a powder coated rack?

Did it held up to your abuse?

 

Just had the cheapy clamp-on tracracs. Only used them to transport my glider with padding and a 2x4 here and there so didn’t properly beat the snot out of them but they were spotless when I sold it.

 

Snoring is a sign of obstruction in airway. You may have a mild case of sleep apnea.

 

By the picture, it's hard to tell if the rack are bare aluminum or powder coated.

I want a rack finish to withstand throwing ladders, construction materials on it. Stuff that can't fit in the bed of the truck.

Do you miss the Tacoma?

Was it hard getting used to driving the Tundra on city streets or tight roads?

 

The tracracs come powder coated from the factory. The used ones I got were chipping around the bolts and scratched (and I wanted black) so I had them coated. My husband has a ten year old sliding set with the cantilever like mine that he beats the crap out of and aside from some scratches on top theyve held out just fine.
LOVE the Tundra. Honestly dont miss the Tacoma. Its about 8” wider and almost the same length because I had the dclb, no issues in tight parking lots or the couple times ive gone through Portand. Feels like it has a better turn radius but may just be me. Have been driving a half ton chevy for work for years so i’m accustomed to it. (Trailered the boats in the CG, F350 with 35’ trailer.. big assed vehicles dont bother me)

No sleep apnea. Mixing spicy Mexican food with strong coffee apparently pissed off my stomach something awful.

 

The outcome is all the same, hershey squirts.

 

I did a Google search for the tracrac. They come in silver(ish), black. I seen the sliding one you mentioned.

The Tundra must feel like riding on air with the larger wheel base, compared to the Tacoma. Does it handle good at highway speeds?

Once the COVID 19 is done I want to take a Tundra for a test drive. The car market in this area took a plunge.

 

Takes the bumps and turns better, fo shizzle. The bilsteins on the Taco seemed stiff for the weight of the truck, even crawling off road. Husband is 2.5 hrs away down 95, its a cushier ride, sits higher, less cramped, and likes to do 70+ like nothing. Averaged 18.2mpg last trip.

I drove my husband’s first gen Tundra a bunch, a couple friends third gens, test drove two third gens then bought mine.

What is it about new suspension parts (or any new parts for that matter) that always makes me zoom in on the photo??

 

If you are snoring, you might have sleep apnea. 1 in 5 do, yet most don’t know that they have it. Doctors say that you have severe apnea if you have 30-50 episodes (stop breathing) a night. Then there is ever-lucky me...40-60 times an hour. My doctor had me do the test more than once to be sure. It’s awful. Since my body doesn’t get into REM sleep more than a couple times a month, my body never gets to the stage where it can repair itself. As such, my doctors think that my sleep apnea is what caused my diabetes and my neuropathy in my hands and feet. For example, today I was driving like a very old grandpa (I am 46) because pressing the pedals was excruciatingly painful. I barely made it home.

So, wouldn’t be a bad thing to get yourself checked out.

 

The wife says I never stop breathing and it's just the occasional light snoring. I sleep like a rock
