Looks like it might be an NFAB tire carrier or something along those lines.

Not sure of the brand, but a similar style to that, took it out actually because I use the bed for camping, mounted the spare in the stock location but still have the carrier, just not sure what I want to do with it for now lol. Unfortunately didn't take a picture of it directly before taking it out.

They are actually individual light pods that are all mounted to the bumper through holes in the plastic portion of the stock bumper, let me know if you would like specific pictures of how they are mounted, but as far as thr brand they are ProComp 7 inch round motorsports light - 76503

I didn't read where you stated what the temperature gauge has shown in the past or what it's showing now. Does your truck have a temperature gauge?

So I was finally forced to buy a pop-&-lock...

    Two reasons..

    1. I work in downtown SD and the homeless tend to use my tailgate as their park bench.
    :annoyed:

    2. Several times after grocery shopping I've found my tailgate randomly down.

I have Chris's ATD and I am 100% certain that it has saved my gate from getting stolen. (I highly recommend his product. See here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anti-theft-device.593155/ )

But apparently it seems that I also need stupid asshole tailgate opening security as well. lol.

With all the pro's outweighing the negative reviews I chose to buy one. I went with the gloss option hoping that I don't have to deal with any fading. It's marinating in silicone lubricant and going on tomorrow :)

It shown way over the half mark im guessin because I drove it for a while without realizing how long the overflow was leaking and lost a lot of coolant? I top it with coolant now and it stays right in the middle where it should be but I did noticed from cold start that the needle goes up to the half way mark way faster than usual. I usually start up 5 am to warm up the car I leave my 5:15 and the needle still at around 1/4 up. Now working ten minutes of it being on its already half way up .

I used to have a swingout many moons ago. So glad I got rid of it.

I’ll probably end up moving mine too. Just trying to find one that will look good with the Pop & Lock handle.

Ohh, I see. Yea, because they're under the lip, that would make that damn near impossible to get out without disassembly or some really dead eyed socket work from the side. The angle bracket I made, I want to bolt the aux bracket to, so I can just take it off the bracket anytime but leave the bracket in place on the truck. I think that might resolve the issue of those bolts being difficult.

So far I’ve been really impressed with them. No noticeable difference between these and the cooper mtp as far as performance goes, but these ride much much smoother on road.

Gotta give it a wash, but scored a lightly used Bestop yesterday. Love it so far.
