    So new here I haven't even picked up my Tacoma yet. That will happen as soon as I get off work today. In the meantime here are a few of my 2 wheeled treasures.

    My 1977 Honda CB400F Super Sport which was something of a barn find.

    My 2007 Yamaha FJR1300 which met an untimely demise last year in TN thanks to a Honda Civic hitting me head on while on vacation. This bike took me on several Iron Butt Association rides and was even leant out last year to a rider in the Iron Butt Rally to finish on after his BMW blew the engine on day 10 of an 11 day rally. Bike served me well for over 127k miles.

    My 2014 Yamaha FJR1300 picked up exactly one week after the destruction on my beloved 2007. Photo taken at a bonus stop on last year's Void Rally. This 2014 is by far the favorite bike I've ever owned. Oddly enough it's a Gen 3 model and I come to learn the 2017 Tacoma I'm buying is also considered Gen 3. I hope I love the Tacoma as much as the FJR.

    Ugh, I want to buy @FreshOldTaco SV650 but I am in the same situation as you. Need a cheap daily to drive 40 miles each day. It sucks driving the Chevy 3500 that gets 10mpg.

    the prius isnt bad for a penny saver that you dont give a shit about, its a tool not a toy

    though just be careful with older cheaper prius buying, IIRC replacing batteries aint cheap

    Its an 07 with 145k on it. Thats all it is. Grocery getter and commuter. Just dont want to put city miles on my truck.

    Id honestly be happy with a Geo Metro.
