Still needs some sort of weight over the rear axle, especially with heavy leafs. Depending on the build of your rear bumper, that might be enough though. You have a lot of weight on that thing for a 4 cylinder.

^^^ This! Everything sells quickly here right now. It really "in my opinion" depends on 'how close' vs 'city/rural living' you want. I remember that Wes had a really hard time finding a new house in Madison a few months ago.

I've been looking at houses out of boredom and it really surprises me how everything I see i'm not interested in.

The good ones seem to be getting swept up very fast.

pretty much anything in HSV/Madison sub 300k is swiped up within minutes. it's amazing. I watch/save on Zillow all the time just to see how fast, and that's a delayed app lol

Yeah my wife likes looking at houses for sale around town as well (not that I'm ever moving again). It seems to be buy new construction in a subdivision or be ready to do heavy renovations.

You don't have the low gearing that a 4x4 has, that problem will go away when you get the transfer case installed.

At this point I'll just do renovations on my place. No other place location wise within 45 mins to an hour interest me.
My realtor, who's been a friend of mine for years actually asked would I be interested in selling, I looked at the market and yeah I'd love to sale, but I don't have anywhere to move that I'd like more. It's quiet, 1 acre, right beside interstate, and almost no crime in Indian Springs Village, the highfalutin place between Hoover and Pelham lol.

So unless I move away career wise, looks like I'll just renovate.
