Is it just me concerning mods? Just a rant is all

I better start out with a disclaimer. Without doubt, Meso has great mods available and great foresight to create new ones all the time. I have several on my truck and look forward to what he comes up with next.

Is it just me, or are these grown men acting like if Meso doesn't release a product as soon as it is introduced or else their truck will not run and they will be stranded? Seems like he is questioned 10 times a day asking when something will be released. Give the man a chance to develop and test a product. His quality and customer service is top notch but image the time he could spend finalizing and producing a part if he wasn't having to respond to the same questions every day.

And the post "I'm sure its been asked but I don't want to go through 40 pages of comments to find it......". I'm sure it wouldn't be a 40 page post to go through if it was asked 100 times already.

I don't want to speak for him but I'm pretty sure he wants this stuff to market as soon as he can to reap the benefits of his hard work. Let the man work and he will keep us updated when an item drops.

That is all for today :crapstorm:

A little context/background might make this more understandable.

It will never stop happening. Been going on for years and will continue to and get more noticeable with new members and new taco owners. Wait and see the threads a year from now...

I appreciate all the support! And I couldn't have done it(or continue to) without all the help, and collective input from my TW fam.
However....people need to realize I am not a huge operation with departments and teams for every level. Just a guy in a garage with a few helpers. I also do 99% of everything myself including concepts, designs, CAD, Prototyping(usually 3d printing), testing, production, shipping etc. All that takes some time...especially when I'm such a small operation. But hang in there with me and you will eventually see why the wait is worth it!:D

Have you tried to go through these 200+ page threads? It's not realistic. And the search function only brings you right back to the middle of a 200 page thread.

They say any publicity is good publicity.

Its not like anyone else is making this stuff, and it doesn't hurt to keep the threads going and having the noobs like myself posting in the threads bumps them right back to the top of the list on the forum and keeps them relevant.

So while people may complain, its still good for exposure and keeping these things at the top of the discussion list.

That being said, I'm sure he's tough enough to handle a few complaints from his target audience without getting his feelings hurt too badly.

My biggest complain on these stupid ass trucks is the mods are too freaking cheap! Back in my day, mods were expensive. We couldn't get anything but a sticker for less than $50. You kids have it way too easy. Some guy can't find any mods so this dumbass has the gall and the nerve to 3D print the stuff he wants for his truck and then has the sheer audacity to make a few more for other enthusiasts! Someone should have a talk with him. Doesn't he know this is unacceptable?

This is obviously sarcasm, but one legitimate complaint is that he only offers white key fobs and not super white. This really does bother me for some reason because he offers Voodoo Blue and Barcelona Red but no Super White. Clearly throwing some shade at the right color.

100% agree, it is good to keep the threads active but try and keep it between consumers. It's the constant, "hey Meso, when......."

I think about half of the posts you are referring to are in regards to limited run, or sold out things. People want the tail lights or puddle lights and they want to know when they will be released again. I just posted in his molle rack thread asking when he is going to put out the full overhead rack (combo of sunroof and non-sunroof racks) Im not sure if he is working on one, but I mentioned it awhile back and he seemed interested in doing it.

But usually someone will chime in with a answer to the persons question so meso doesnt have to.

This doesn't make sense. How else is Meso supposed to know what the demand is like?

Imagine him announcing something and NO ONE asks when its coming. You think he will still make it?

This is how we make progress. The more people ask and demand his products, the more he is forced to grow to meet those demands if he wants to make more money.

I say people should be asking more. You want something from Meso? Then ask for it!!

I for one don't even have the truck yet, and have been monitoring Meso's inventory :)
