nope, that's why I'm questioning myself on cancelling doing it solo.. my counterpart to this mission bailed. And I might save the $$ for my suspension...

Sounds good. Before all of the rain, I would say the roads would be fine, but the rain may make them choppy. It's a very doable, fun trip. After you do it, the next time, plan on heading west at the Realty Road and going up via the Robinson Road, Escourt Road, Dicky Road.

I've been wanting to do this, but a route that long I prefer not to go solo.. I'm kinda sad I'm having to cancel my trip, was looking forward to it. been working 60-70hr weeks the last month with a sporadic day off here or there... started off today thinking about it in the morning, and might pick up some OT, or just see about staying at home, tking the 4 days to myself. maybe get myself a new smoker, and make a brisket... some ribs...

    Hey Mainers,

looking for “trail” or off-roading area recommendations in the mid-coast region, specifically around Boothbay.
Or if anyone has info on the general ethics and legality of certain locations.
Looking for fun areas I can explore with the rig.
    camping is a plus!

    thanks

I usually head to more northern Maine for my "exploring." Stud Mill Rd. north of state Rt. 9, North Maine Woods in the Allagash region, or areas east of Jackman off of US Rt. 201. I did a quick Google search and found this in the mid-coast area:
    http://wickedhills.com/

I have no experience with Wicked Hills. Sounds sort of interesting. Maybe @Scott17818 will chime in since he lives somewhat in the mid-coast region.

Anyone on here in / around the Sanford/Biddeford area own a long travel quick sand 3rd gen?

Was down there for work today. Caught it out of the corner of my eye on my way back up to I95. Not 100% sure it was LT, but sure looked like it had glass fenders on it. Good looking truck.

If anyone hears a loud scream and stream of profanities coming from the Standish area... That is just me registering the new truck.:argue::annoyed::spending:

Don't feel special or alone. There are lots of town halls where that happens all day.

It's amazing the difference a couple of years make. From $1200 when it was new to like $350 last time around. :notsure:
It's a big part of why I'm fairly sure I won't be buying new again.

My registration is also due this month. Not quite a year old since I kept my old plates. Not looking forward to the damage.
