New here and just looking for some information. I’ve tried the search function with little to no luck.
Does anyone have any info on a cab height bed rack and a soft topper that can fit underneath it. Looking for cab height to keep a smooth look without having to add a cab rack since I want to keep my sunroof functional.

Thanks for the information. I did find that last one. But I’m looking for the bed rack to be cab height and the soft top to be still underneath. I guess I should say I’ve been able to find cab height racks just not a soft top that’s shorter than bed height. Im not even sure if anyone makes one like that. I just think bed racks that are higher than the cab without a cab rack look a little odd to me.

I guess I should ask also for people that have cab and bed racks; do you notice any damage to your roof or the inability to enjoy your sunroof?

I think the only one that does that right now is @upTOPoverland

I have the @SOS CONCEPTS rack and it sits flush with my @upTOPoverland roof rack. Plus I have the uptop sunroof fix. I don’t have any issues with my sunroof when cracked.

opened.. is useless lol it’s loud then.

    Wassup OP!

upTOP offers a height adjustable softopper bedrack. It is capable of running level with the roof up to level with the bars.

@upTOPoverland love the look/design of your systems. I’m assuming to run a soft top I’d have to purchase the truss soft top compatible system. Then to fit the alpha ex does that just go directly on top of the truss frame or does it replace the top part of the frame? Do you offer full system deals for say if I wanted to buy the truss soft top, the alpha double cab, and the alpha ex?

Alpha eX is not compatible with the softtopper truss due to the width of the truss to fit around the softtopper. That is why height is adjustable so you can still level with your alpha on the cab

Softoppers sit flush with the roof. Therefore, any rack that goes over it is going to be above the roofline to some degree. Just the way it works.

Well that’s a bummer. Any chance you are considering making an updated design that fits the alpha. Really like the look of that.

That’s what I figured. I just didn’t know if anyone knew of a place that could do custom soft tops.

Also side note. @upTOPoverland in the APP video under your big thread here you can see a blue painted version of the bed rack. You don’t by chance have any pictures of that installed?

Ah I gotcha. None that I’ve seen. How come you’re opposed to have it flush with a separate roof rack? That way you have a bunch of real estate for hauling long stuff

I’m becoming less opposed to it. But manly opposed because I didn’t want to lose the ability of having a sunroof.

I know I'm a little late to the party here, but I purchased a softtopper off Craigslist that came off a Chevy colorado, and it is shorter than the cab height, enough to see the 3rd brake light.

It wasn't what I wanted initially, but I am planning to throw a bed rack over it this spring and I think it might be about what you are looking for as well.

Thanks for the info but I ended up just buying a normal sized one.
