Once we wrap up this huge vF Tuner update we will release for you AT guys to play around with the transmission and set it up exactly as you'd like.

Anybody on here have the tune files for the 04B31 Stock 2.0 Premium where "ECT" is a performance mode and "S" is gear lock? If you do, can you please send me the file? Thanks in advance.

Where does the full 2.0 final fit into the release plan? Not looking for a timeline, just a project order or something like that?

04B04 91oct 4.88 32’s (255/75/17), truck is 5650lbs.

Great power and mpgs (12-14)...not sure what the issue is, but you shouldn’t be or need to be flooring it with a trailer.

 

What MPH are you towing at?

 

45-65mph. Rarely above that, but I don’t really have a need to go faster on Mountain roads or freeways.

 

Yeah, that’ll get you nowhere here. 2 lane roads up and through the mountains and you’re lucky to see below 70mph unless there’s an accident ahead of you.

 

That’s not the safest idea with a heavy trailer. Even if people were in a hurry I wouldn’t go after than 65. Cargo is too important

 

I typically run 65 mph or so. The exception being when i went across northern NM, I ran 75 and my truck sat higher in the powerband so i didnt need to downshift for the climbs.

 

I live in CA. Towing speed limit here is 55mph on the freeway/highway. I usually tow at that or up to 65mph max. Yea people fly by me all day long but oh well.

I've logged about 800 towing miles maybe more on 2.0F 5.29 33" non THX 91 Tune. running heavy e load 285's full size spare, sliders and a bed full of gear towing my trailer with a full 35 gallons of water. estimate trailer to be close to 4k lbs loaded down.

So far the tune has performed flawlessly. I've been able to hold 5th gear when travelling on flat ground around 55-60mph and downshift to 4th and 3rd on the hills. I usually average around 10-11mpg corrected while towing with this setup. Really impressed with the truck and how it performs. I wouldn't want to tow much heavier than this trailer for a long time however.

In a couple weeks i'll be loading it up even more with two dualsports estimating about 500-600lbs in the back and towing the setup. Interested to see how it does then.

 

Exactly, like I said, Taco not meant to tow heavy loads. Full-size with trailer brakes would be good to go.

 

One of my favorite things about AZ. U can routinely pass cops on the freeway doin 73-74. Usually leave you alone.

That hasn’t been released. Map switching to come later afaik.

 

I guess I did not elaborate throughly. I am looking for the previous released tune before "2.0 Final"

 

I know we had gear lock in some of the betas but I don’t recall ever seeing a map switching beta.
