Don’t think I’m permitted to post in the LT thread. But if I were, I’d remind you that you did your kill switch mod at Donner Summit on the way to one of those raptor runs. I just heckled. :D

Nice! Corey and I are from the same general area of the South...so we chatted in our southern accents, his is much stronger than mine! My accent has faded having not lived in the south for 20 years now.

    Thanks!
Any direction would be great. I tried to make a switch once and it didn’t quite work.
I’ve been pulling the wheel speed sensor while in the dirt !

    That makes sense.
For sure the front wheels are where the system is seeing a problem, sorry if I said otherwise in above posts.

I was thinking something similar too. Bigger tires, wider LT, and the revolutions being different enough to set VSC into action.

Problem is my truck is 2wd. I do not have 4lo or a-trac, anything related to those systems ! :(

the 4lo mod won’t work for me, but maybe the “yellow wire mod ?”
Is that what you have done ?

    edit:
Just briefed over that thread again, and looks like the yellow wire mod is for trac while in 4lo. Something I don’t care about.

But the first posts mod, adding a switch to the light green wire in the driver kick panel looks to be what I’d like to do. I’ll give it a look !

You have any pointers for me to wire in an abs kill switch ?
My truck has VSC, trac, 2wd TRD sport.

Similar to truck(s) you have messed with ?

This. Most if not all "nanny systems" are ran off the ABS system. If you kill that circuit, anything associated will also not be active. I just wired an interference switch to the green wire and to put the truck into full send mode. Nothing works when the system is killed and its great.

I'm 4x w/o Atrac or any of that. I have an electronic LSD but none of that works with the ABS system inactive.

Green wire mod is the one you need. Get an SPST switch and some wire and have at it.

No shunning. Needed another vehicle for the family fleet. The Tacoma is way cooler looking going down the road.

Making some big changes soon and adding glass to all 4 corners and considering adding a snorkel as well while I am at it. I’ve seen a couple of guys on here with a DIY snorkel w/ glass fenders but I have not been able to find any good pics that show some good detail. Anyone have it done or know a build I could look at ? The main item I am looking for detail on is where there pipe penetrates the fender.

I’d recomend going the same route @sytfu510 it’s simple to execute and way cleaner than that molded crap
