Did not know that. Interesting ! I am leaning toward the Nittos. The problem I have here in NY is that we don't really have what I call great truck tire shops. I personally like to see the tires. There is a pretty good shop in Yonkers and they are advising me to get the Nittos. I really like the Toyos as well but they are unavailable and in short supply (apparently). I wonder why Toyota made that decision though. Still looking at other tires as well but leaning toward the Nittos.

I do like those tires ... and everyone says that they are pretty much the industry standard / leader. Look great. My only concern is that they might be overkill for me in terms of capability and cost. I did have the Nittos on the last truck and loved them but that is only because they did well by me. Since I don't have a lot of experience actually driving all of the other tires it is hard for me to really say. I do like the Falkens, was really curious about the Toyos (limited availability) and really wanted to see the Pirelli's in person but can't seem to find anyone with them. I do appreciate your insight and experience, though. I will look at them again. :)
