I'm amazed the ball joint didn't seperate on me

About to change the other side just for good measure.

Please forgive me TW for I'm not using OEM joints :( I'm in a pinch and planned on doing all sterring components OEM when I bought and upgraded the suspension later this year

Thankfully I won't have more than 10k miles on these off brand ones

Oh yea. Just leave the nut on the tie rod and when it’s off put it in roughly the same spot as the original. Forgot these trucks were backwards from every other Toyota

Oh yeah, that’s the stuff. Going to build some shelving later on, this is temporary.

My new OEM outer tie rods had less threads on them than the ones I took off so the thread count method didn't work out that great, but it was good enough to get me a few miles to the alignment shop. Not gonna be the end of the world as long as your tires aren't pointed into one another lol.

The parts I got are "TRQ" brand made in china of course... I'm surprised how similar they are on the exterior.

When I get the left side apart I'll snap a photo of the old vs new side by side

I was mobbing a forest service road with a buddy (him in a 4x4 f150) in my 2x4 astro van.. came across a fairly washed out portion where two lifted fords with CA plates on the other side were himming and hawing about if they'll make it across.. showed them what's up with the skinny pedal and made it through no problem

Some of those commifornia guys sure can make a big stink outta nothing lol

Are those stock rotors? I notice on 3 sets of stock tacoma rotors they get that weird line in like yours does... no actual ridge if you put your finger across it but definitely noticable with the eye

Or I'm just crazy lol. That's a strong possibility
