    Got enough welds in place to get rid of all the temporary supports on my flatbed project. Also, test fit my toolbox. I received the 4' x 8' sheet of 1/8" tread plate that I will use for the flatbed part. The flatbed part will be about 4' x 4'. Hoping to finish up this weekend, except for the overhead rack. Gotta order some tubing for that. I'll get some better pics outdoors soon. It was so hot I had the overhead door mostly down to keep sun out.

    I'm making coil bucket over gussets, and sheer gussets for the rear of the bucket. I can't find a good way to make them strong that doesn't require pulling the engine... So I will pull the engine

    Plus those double sheer UCA gusset things ( I won't call them coil bucket gussets because they just aren't) don't solve a problem anyone has.

    Aside from the PITA install and bushing issues, I don't think they're hurting anything.

    They gotta add some strength, but yes, no one is bending UCA bolts.

    Looks like the driver side resi hose could be rubbing though? Might wanna check that. Also looks like the upper mounts probably should be put up a bit higher as you dont' have a ton of up travel looks like? But if it cycled good then sweet.

    I didn't do it, but I had a new motor built and installed by Yota1 in Riverbank, CA. Money well spent, popped a headgasket on the trail first day of the trip, finished the trip and limped it home. Called them up and when they got the new engine at their shop, it was done in a matter of days!
