What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I have HPS full intake and the sound is only there when you are on the power. At idle or just cruising along you don't hear anything but when you mash down it sounds great. Too bad the actual truck performance doesn't match the cool noises you are making lol.
Plus unlike other "cold air" intake systems the HPS air box is about 90% sealed off so the cone filter should stay cleaner longer and it actually pulls cold air like the stock set up. K&N filters just have a heat shield but are otherwise open to the engine bay meaning what ever dirt and heat that is in the engine bay is going to be on the filter as well.

 

Yes, plastic but it is flat so it will flex in either direction if required. Also, easier to clean mud and snow off of.

 

how long was the wait before you received the red hatch cover, and was it orderd from factory or distributor? thanx

 

Direct and it took a week to get to me.

Looks great! I ordered through “runnin 4 tacos” & it’s going on week 6+ with them??? So far not pleased with their customer service.

Correct. If you are doing a BHLM on an OEM headlight or even if you change the projector the light bezel around the projector is reused. The halo attaches to the bezel not the projector.

 

Time to ask for your money back and then order direct.

 

I bought my 3rd generation today ... I'll take it out tomorrow and test some of the local off-roads. It will not stay clean long I'm afraid. Being able to adjust the seat up and down was huge, although that doesn't sound like that big of deal. The 2019 I bought was a dud as I have explained in another post.
