    I'm cool with that just so long as it's not next to the car. I've seen too many bikes get crunched by unobservant idiots who pulled into a parking spot not realizing there was a bike in it.

    The yellow areas on the sides of handicapped parking spots allow people extra space to get into the vehicle. If you put your bike in that spot, they may not be able to get into their car. In that case, an angry handicapped person would be fully in their rights to knock the bike over.

    actually directly behind the other car, didn't get it in the shot since I was moving. there are hundreds of spots in the parking lot at this strip mall. there were easily 10 spots open within 15 extra strides of this person.
