So i live in southern Utah and the summers get quite hot. My A/C blows pretty weak on high. Ive taken the cabin filter out to see if i had restriction, No change. Im just curious if theres some simple fix that will improve my output.

Depends just what is wrong .

Could be blocked or separated duct work . rodents love to raise kids in them.

Fan Motor just getting tired or extra resistance in the high position circuit slowing the motor

Do the dash vents start cold on the driver's side and get warmer on the passenger side? That's a sign of a low charge.

If it is low, then you have a leak somewhere in the system, a it's a closed system.

Craftsman makes a UV flashlight and sold at Lowe's. That's how I found mine.

What about the fan itself; is it working properly? If not, look at the fan speed resistor, blower motor and HVAC wiring connectors. All are known trouble spots.

    Good luck.

We need to go ahead and get some questions out of the way.

    1. Does the A/C feel cold at all vents?
    2. Does the air speed from the vents change with each change of the seep dial?
    3. Do all the setting on the A/C work?
    4. When you switch from Floor Vents to Dash Vents, is there a change in Volume of air output?
    5. Are you willing to pull a few connectors, and inspect for problems?
    6. Do you own and know the basic operations of a Volt/Ohm Meter?

Mine started doing this crap 3 days ago. I unplugged the blower motor to see if the connector was burnt or corroded, it wasn't, so I plugged it back in and now it's fixed. Lol.

Living here in AZ, I find the amount of air output in my Tacoma to be really weak. It pretty much has to be on 4 or high to get any decent amount of air out.
